Welcome! My little sister had been an active participant in my planning as well so I'm sure your sister is so thrilled to have your help. It's nice when others are just as excited! You will find so much information (sometimes too much because you find yourself planning more than you would have originally did- at least that's my problem.) So many great ideas here from invites to the nice touches like OOT bags.

While I love the lace and details on the first, I think #2 is the most flattering. You look gorgeous in it. It fits you perfectly and completely compliments your figure. Good luck choosing. They are beautiful dresses!

I think that's a dress I tried on. It was so comfortable and airy! My sister in law was just married in it. Very beautiful. The little detail on the pick ups reminded me of little bees. Congrats on finding the one! It's a relief huh?

Oh wow Stephanie. I'm truly sorry. What a horrible situation. I'm sorry, but I would definitely watch your mom for forms of abuse reformed man or not. My own father (who I'm not in contact with) abused my mother for 11 years and then continued to abuse every woman he was with there after even though he profusely apologized for the abuse he put my mother through. This is a VERY tough cycle to break. Please do an extensive background check. I'm not sure if this would do much good to convince your mom to back out of an engagement, because she already knows about his cocaine dealings and jail time. Just offer your mom support, because you don't want her feeling that HE is the only one there for her should things begin to go downhill. Again, I'm so sorry for you. My heart breaks for you.

I kinda feel that way too, because really who has poop, feces, whatever go all over the bathroom floor by simply turning on the shower. Ok yes, maybe there were sewer problems but can it get so backed up it gets into shower plumbing? AND if that did happen to me, no way I would just switch rooms. What if you got a new room and stepped into it's shower and the same thing happened. Too many crazy problems to say it was a "wonderful fantasy wedding" until your ring got stolen. Sounds like a nightmare to me.

Are you wanting your FI to wear make up? Or is he? I can't imagine seeing a groom with make up on. I mean, yes your getting pictures done, but people will be looking and talking to him all night. They would see that he has make up on. It wouldn't be like a "photo shoot" where it's just the two of you and a photog. It's bad to even see too well sculpted eye brows on a man. It doesn't look right.

Ditto. I'm sure no one will even remember your invites come wedding day when "your colors" are in full glory. They will be too excited about the actual wedding than to analyze the small details.

I'm also having a TTD session with my photog. Although it won't be our wedding day, we will also get some pics in full sun a few days later. I asked to have a few more formal shots before soaking ourselves. I'm so jealous of the Sunday weddings. This changed AFTER I sent out my STDs. Oh well, I'm still happy!
