I'm having a different dilemma. I'm not sure if the books I read and loved are too out there. I love a lot of the classics and haven't read too much light reading. Any one like Toni Morrison? I'd like to suggest a book of hers but her style might throw some people off.

I had one knock on my door the other day and I had FI go kick her off the porch. No really, I used to sell GS cookies back in the day. I feel for her, but I can't afford to put more GS cookies on my butt and hips. I love the thin mints and samoas. OOHHH YUM!

This topic is really hard for me. Initially I didn't want to change my name- not because I'm proud of where I come from (I don't even talk to my dad anymore) but more because it's my identity. I can't imagine my name as anything else. FI and I have talked about this and he, too, has become really insulted and hurt that I'm considering not taking his name. I've even tried to flip it on him and ask how he would feel after 30 years to change his name. Still doesn't get it. Eventually I think I will take his name. I don't want to upset him and it's not a battle I really want to fight that hard. I think I'll save the fight for other topics.

Ugh I need my TV back. I moved and totally didn't get it hooked up before we actually vacated. DAMN ME!

Why oh why would you make fun of those pics? In all honesty, they are my fav BD pics so far. The background is amazing and they are so interesting. You should be so proud of how you look. I'm sure many girls (me included) would love to have your body.

I would love to do it. I've never been part of a book club either but I was an English major in college. I LOVED discussing the books. That's the best part. One question- do we nominate a book we have already read or do we nominate one we want to read?

Kash, I think it was nice of you to try to offer an explanation on her behalf- especially since she hasn't had the chance to come back and clarify. While it could have been written a lot nicer, she may not have realized how it sounded. *I too did not see the unedited version of the thread title though.*

Awesome! I can't wait. I love make up so I think it will be so much fun to have someone else do it who actually knows what they are doing. At least I hope they do!
