  1. haha that's a nice track record. Just to put this out there- there are some really crazy guys out there too. A lot of guys dominate the "head games" playing field. As for your current problem, are you dating the same type of girl? I know lots of crazy girls (FYI they are normal in friendships but when it comes to relationships with a guy- forget about it. All sanity disappears.) Typically it seems like the crazy girls are pretty much needy from the get-go. Then they get slightly more psychotic as time progresses.
  2. Nordstrom is one that offers a sort by color option. Have them look there. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult. I've seen pictures of all white wedding parties before- if they can do it, your girls can too.
  3. That stamp is gorgeous! I can only imagine what it looks like in person. I love your invites! GO with those!
  4. Woohoo. I'm glad that worked out in the end. I really hope this thread will affect his business. I hate shady people.
  5. Oh ya. It was Brad that was the douche. Oh well- Andy was still kinda boring.
  6. haha Christa. Did you see that post about office games before? Like you got 5 pts for slow scooting your chair towards the door during a meeting. You should do that.
  7. And after I just wrote that she came in and gave me a big project due before I leave of course. That's karma. Shame on me.
  8. haha this reminds me of "the office." Anyone watch the show? It's hysterical and so relatable to your job. Everyone I work with is pretty cool- they were just throwing a nurf football down the hall a bit ago. My boss is the only annoying one. She has the most high-pitched "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!" or "I'm bacckkkkkkkkkkkk!" whenever she steps like 10 feet from her office. Oh lordy.
  9. hem job? bahahaha. Thanks for the rant ladies. All in all, I guess I'm just not going to care- I just can't believe this is even an issue I have to deal with. Who on earth suggests pining a dress hem for a wedding! With that in mind, when you see my pictures please know I don't have bad taste. I didn't choose for the dress to look like that. Blasted BMs. I just can't wait to be an evil one in return! Also, I'm not super upset over it. I'm more amused than anything I suppose. I just don't want all this bottled up stress blow up the day of the wedding over some "hem job." At least I know some fabulous forum members could photoshop a few pictures for me. hehe
  10. haha funny Abbie. They also chanted my name at breakfast the next morning. That was a little embarrassing since EVERYONE in the restaurant looked at me. Agh- I never puke! Of all times to do it.
  11. Thanks Paula. I guess it's always nice to keep in perspective the importance of a wedding. To share the love you have for FI with everyone you love. However, your BM sounds more considerate than mine. SHe's bitched about the dress from day one. This is the 2nd dress too. The first one she didn't like (I wasn't too fond of it either) so I bought a second one. Now this one is too long. It's like a never ending pain in my ass. Oh well- the day of the wedding I won't even think about it. BUT there will be no pins in the dress.
  12. I love both colors. However not everyone is a "pink" person. If you want to consider them being able to rewear them, I think jade is a better option. I like the dress! It's better to have silent BMs then complaining BMs. Trust me!
  13. My mom is going to Las Caletas early too. I'm sure she will help A) tame the beast in me and talk some sense into my lovely BM. I can't help but laugh though. We leave in 5 days and she forgets to get a dress altered and now wants to pin it. Honestly, I HAVE to be the only bride that has an issue like this. It's just so comical.
  14. Ahhh poor little guy. Fortunately he's a boy. They seem to recover more easily than the females. I'll send him some happy puppy thoughts.

Nordstroms. They were only $55 then. I think they have VERY similar styles now- many color options as well. I think they are cute and totally re-wearable. What bride doesn't say that though? haha

She's my cousin- we are so close too. I told her exactly what I thought but unfortunately she's one of those laugh you off, flaky kind of people. Half the time she goes out she doesn't wear "pants." Did you see my party pictures? haha That's why a dress at the calf is horrific to her. And if I wore daisy dukes, oh dear lord. I would be sad for me. haha But the again, a wedding is so off her radar. I don't think she will get married til we are in our 40s and I would have a LONG time to wait for revenge. She told me the other day she would want a comedian as her officiant at her wedding and have him crack jokes the whole time. I asked my sister (my MOH) to take care of it the day of the wedding. It's the last thing I want to think about, but unfortunately she is so laid back I doubt she will. She doesn't speak her mind as easily as I do. My FI told me to tell her to take a seat if she doesn't listen. Oh the drama!

  18. Ok so through this whole process I have been a very calm bride. Now one of my bridesmaids throws a curve ball at me. We ordered these dresses back in Nov: Both bridesmaids complained that the shoulder would occasionally slip and the lenght was too long for their preference. I said ok, get them altered- duh. I told them not to go above their knee though because I wanted it to still look "wedding." One BM insisted she wanted it shorter- 3 inches above her knee shorter to be exact. I remind her that it's not a cocktail dress. It's a BM dress- plus there is no one at the wedding she can pick up. She continues to whine that if the dress is at her knee, her legs will look chunky. My MOH gets hers altered- no problem. My last BM comes over the other night in a panic with her dress saying she didn't get it altered. I tell her to use double stick tape on the boobs and deal with it being calf-length. I don't care. She's a toothpick and I thought the dress looked good on her as is. FI, my MOH and I kept telling her it looked fine. She insisted that she would get it altered to the knee. Fine- whatever. I secretly worried that she would show up with her dress well above her knee like she wanted so I asked her today if she got it altered yet. She said "no, I think I'm just going to pin it short the day of the wedding." I told her ABSOLUTELY NOT! That will look shit. Unfortunately, she just laughed at me and said I'm totally being a "bride." OMG. I want to be chill and not be a bitch to people the day of the wedding, but I swear if I see one straight pin pop out the day of the wedding, I will kick some ass. It's not my fault she waited so long! Don't ruin my pictures by having your dress look like a mess. Ugh- I can't wait for her to get married and torture her during this whole process.
  19. Hmmm- so why this particular officiant? I would look for another because it seems as if he is the one with the confusion. IMO- although the officiant is important, he's only there for like 15-20 mins. Why not find someone else who can do the job adequately and get everything else you want? Plus 6:30 would create lighting issues right?
  20. What about having them all flower girls and ring bearers? When I was younger one of my aunts got married and she had 5 flower girls and 4 ring bearers. Our pictures were super cute.

No worries- that's the ONLY thing I have completed thus far. I hope to have my programs and menus done today. Thank goodness work likes to pay me to get this stuff done. Plus they lend their printers too. ahahaha
