I think it would also be a nice motivator for when you have to lose some baby weight. I look at all my early college pics and say "damn, what happened?" It would be nice to have some pics to brag about when your in your 70's too.

Welcome back Marla. How odd- we were married fairly close to each other and it seems we had some of the same experiences/ thoughts. I'm glad it was great for you! Did Beth tell you how long before photos? I forgot to ask! Did you have problems signing the marriage license with a fountain pen? My handwriting looked like a 5 yr olds. I wished they used normal pens!

Is it an AI? Mostly the day passes are for AIs because they want to make sure the guests are paying for the "free food/alcohol" they will receive once on resort property.

I've seen lots of engagement pics used for wedding stuff- like a nice picture to place by the guest book or used in a frame for guests to sign, STD pic, etc. We didn't do engagement pics. We were only engaged a year- I would think by the time I got them done and then printed it would almost be wedding time. I had no plans of using them for anything other than pictures so it wasn't worth the money for me.

I agree Morgan. After all, these girls are the bride's closest friends- why not treat them like friends. Totally difference in not loving the dress and hating the dress.

Oh my- that just reminded me of my DH (weird to say that!) first Valentine's gift. He bought me chocolate body butter and thought it was edible. You should have saw his face when I clued him in that indeed it was not edible. He was like "but it says butter!" So of course he had to put a bit in his mouth to discover that it tastes like crap- just like butter would! By his logic, why would you buy anything "edible" that you thought was butter? What a nimrod.

I personally would pay- only because while it's great to have everyone stay at one resort, not everyone will have the same amount of cash available. If they can't afford to stay at your resort (that's the only reason I could imagine someone staying elsewhere) then they probably can't afford the day pass either. They are invited so why not help them out? I think the thing to remember is that while it is our weddings, people do pay a lot of money to come. It's a vacation for them too-I couldn't imagine a lot of my friends and family members wanting to blow thousands of dollars just to attend my wedding otherwise.

That's probably depending on the photographer. In my contracts for the wedding it says she has the rights to use them. However, for a BD I think you could stipulate you DON'T want them used. I wouldn't think that to be abnormal. No one wants pics of their ass on the internet without consent.

Here's our babies- Beau on the left is actually my sister's dog but since she lives with us- he's ours. muhahaha. Chloe is my baby on the right. Here's Beau again. He's a terror. I forgot to put him in his kennel when I left for a bit yesterday. Came back to shredded paper EVERYWHERE! My Chloe. She's perfect.
