  1. Gorgeous. I love the colors! Your guests will be blown away. And don't worry- I printed everything wedding related at work.
  2. Try doing a search on Welcome Dinners. I know lots of recommendations for Barcelona Tapas, Epoca, etc. When I was there, I saw "Oscars" which was not beach front but it was right next to the river. It looked beautiful- especially at night when it was all lit up. I never ate there though.
  3. And there was another LC wedding that just had 4 people there I think. I can't remember the member's name who had it. It was still gorgeous and very intimate.
  4. Oh crap- I don't know about a wedding for only 7. My bad- I guess I'm assuming it was the largest package. THey have since changed the packages since I booked. What does your contract say about tips? Mine listed the $10 per person fee (or $300 minimum) whatever was larger. This is paid in cash.
  5. Niblet had a good head on his shoulders until he got involved with "the weed."
  6. What's the fine for breaking this rule? Life in prison with a donkey companion?
  7. I think you would have to declare the items and that would be a PIA. I bet customs would just throw it away. I tried to dry one of the roses from my bouquet and see if I could bring it back without it being a crumpled piece. I forgot it.

  9. Kathy seems to know a lot about PV too! Obviously she goes there tons. I wish I had all her "hot spots" before we went. Steve and I had never really been there before and I forgot all I have read by the time I got there. haha- we just winged it.
  10. Those are adorable. I love the word play too "snotty bride" lol! I wish I would have gotten a hankie. I instead just shoved some kleenex down the cleavage for a "just in case." I didn't even cry a tear. Crazy- since I'm now home crying over Campbell Soup commercials.

I thought it was just the bracelet and earrings when I voted and then I saw all the girls comment about necklace and I was like "did I miss something?" I think skiping the necklace is a good idea. Then again I'm partial to big earrings/bracelet combo.
  12. I think this original post was just for the WEDDING DAY. If it were for all things wedding related, I don't think many people would be horrified at the thought.

That's why she isn't empathetic to my freak out." haha although, I'm always empathetic.

  15. haha well I didn't get married young and still went wild in my 20s. My boobies were seen all over the party scene. Not sure why I always felt the need to show them off once I got drunk. Thank goodness Steve didn't really know me like that then. I would have scared the guy off.
  16. I just read in the paper yesterday Oregon has had 600 earthquakes off the coast for the past few months. They are smaller in magnitude- 5.4 or smaller. We had a few larger ones when I was in high school- once during a basketball game and the tiles started to fall from the roof. The other one was larger but I slept through the damn thing. My parents left me in the house and the whole neighborhood gathered outside while I was just dozing off. What jerks huh? I'm surprised I made it through my childhood.
  17. Lisa- you a freak. haha I love it!
  18. Ok first, I love that dress. I saw it at DB, but it wasn't for me. I needed something that hid my flaws better. Can't wait to see it on you! As for the jewelry, I love them both. That bracelet looked similiar to what I wore- except mine was gold. I totally like how it's rewearable. I think the jewelry will look great!

No matter what you will look beautiful. I had WAY more than 15 to lose so if I was that close to my goal I would have been happy! As for sea sick, I get motion sickness easily too as do many of my family members. No one had any trouble. No worries there! I wouldn't worry about a thing and just enjoy your time!
  20. If anyone is interested in doing a good group excursion, this one is so fun. I'm not sure what company it is, but I don't think there are many that offer the dune buggies. We took the bus and got dropped off at "Trek's Office" in downtown PV. Thankfully, this IS the bus drop off so it wasn't hard to find. The cost is $60 per person. We all felt it was worth the cost. Dune buggies ready to get tore up! You get free goggles and a bandana to wear! Woohoo. You can feel like bandits for a day. Before! Oh my Lord! After! This excursion is so fun. Although we wished we could have hauled ass a little more, we went as fast as possible in the winding, curvy roads. There were a few times that I looked over the edge of the cliff and told Steve to slow down- especially coming back down. It was VERY scary- at least for wimps like me. And you get DIRTY! First mud puddle Steve saw he, of course, drove straight for it. Naturally, he hit it with the wheels on my side and mud splattered all over me. I mean- all over! It's this red, clay mud too so it's not easy to wipe off. Several times I had to remove my goggles and wipe them off. They take you through 3 streams and it is the BEST part. They stop the whole caravan and let you go through one by one. We had a blast watching everyone go before us and laugh at who had the bigger balls. When it was our turn, Steve floored it and when we hit the water, we couldn't see a thing. The water immediately hit my bandana and I couldn't breathe through the soggy mess. We seriously laughed so hard though that I had a major sideache. They take pictures of this that you can by in the end. We didn't purchase any because Steve went so hard you couldn't even SEE us! You go up this mountainside until you reach a "waterfall" that you can either buy a drink to see or pay 3 pesos. It's really not a waterfall- by the way. Apparently it is during rainy season but when you can hear NO water falling, I don't think that counts as a water fall. Nonetheless, it was still fun and everyone dared me to jump into the lagoon- which I did. It was so cold, but it was quite refreshing to get all the dust and mud chunks off my face. Also, they sell some jewelry up there and they had BY FAR the best prices. So take some money- in a water proof baggie haha! After about 20 mins, you jump back in the buggies and head back down. Holy moly- scary. I did not like this part because the brakes are, of course shot, and you can feel the buggy sliding down. You do a quick stop at a tequila tasting place, then zip back to town. Our carvan got pulled over by the policia for going too fast through town- although I don't really think we did. The guides said usually they just pay off the policia with bribe money but they didn't have any that day. They got a ticket for each dune buggy! I got sunburned waiting for all the tickets to be written out too. This part truly sucked. You have to turn over a CC in case you damage the dune buggy, but we had a few fender benders during the trip and no one said a thing. I think it's pretty common, but at first I was afraid we would own a dune buggy by the end of the trip. Nope, they don't even care. Here's some more "dirty" pics- My tank after all hell broke loose. My sister- looking so fresh and so clean. My face! I was so dirty, Steve wrote "Hi" on my forehead. I could have been the poster child for Orbitz gum had I smiled. "Dirty mouth, clean it up." My aunt's bum. I kept telling her it looked like she crapped her pants. She didn't believe me til I showed her this pic. The girls with the new Tupac. Steve & I looking sexy on the bus. Don't hate ya'll.

  22. Oh Tammy, it makes me so sad you have to give her up so I can't imagine what you must feel. You have to be the strongest woman. I love those pics too. We just moved to a new house that has stairs and I have been trying to teach my dog (she's only 4lbs) how to climb our stairs. She knows how since she used to do it at our old house, but she rarely went up them. I don't know why she doesn't like these. Anyways, congrats to Elsie. They get so proud when they learn new stuff too!
  23. Very pretty. They look like they will be comfy and flattering.
  24. haha I love that pic. She looks like "well I will just sit here and suffer then." I can't help though.
