  1. I gained a stinkin pound this week and I totally concentrated on tracking and eating right. SOOO frustrating. I know a pound isn't a big deal (it could be all pee!) but it's really disappointing when you go in hoping for a loss. I guess I need to figure something out!
  2. Sure he could get sunburned on the trip- that is, if he isn't already sunburned from lounging around the resort first. I wouldn't freak. Plus generally people that get sea sick recover pretty quickly once on dry ground. I wouldn't worry too much!
  3. I didn't get one and it's a good thing too. I totally forgot about retouching. I got totally wrapped up in everything and completely forgot about beautifying. I had it all just in a small make up bag.

Anyways, I wouldn't give him crap back. It's a freakin gift- not a loaned item. I would advice him to be smarter in the future before giving someone a gift. His problem- not hers.
  5. I like the idea of dying the slip- so cute. Plus its a fresh idea compared to the pop of color from shoes!
  6. This time was so hard for me too! We really cut out a lot of things we did during the savings period (movies, dinner, trips, etc) and DH was not having it. He was so pouty about me cutting back the spending and I was so pissed he didn't get it. We would fight over the budget constantly. In the end, it's totally worth it. Focus on the good stuff. It should help you get out of this slump and get excited about the wedding and trip. As for your MOH, I think honesty is always the best policy. IF you can't afford it, you can't afford it. She should understand. Also understand if she can't afford it either and ends up not going. It will get better!
  7. Oh I can't wait till you announce a winner. What time should I check back? LOL
  8. Oh look at you in your undies! Love it Heidi! You looked so beautiful and the happiness just radiated off from you! I'm so happy for you and Reggie. Congrats!
  9. Oh sweet! I thought it was $75. That's a wonderful update. Thanks Ann!
  10. Oh I know! It's gorgeous! I don't know about anyone else, but when they showed his dinner with Amanda on the beach at the Hilton, I was thinking "I wonder if anyone is getting married there?"
  11. I wonder how much it would be to order little embroidered tags that say "Made by Carly" or something else much more creative. Hmmm...I'm gonna start brainstorming another DIY project for you. LOL. No seriously, I think they are so adorable and it even makes them super duper special since they were made by you.
  12. I love everything! Truly- it's all so great. I love the little flower girl dress (and pout!) I wanted some kids in my wedding! Oh well. Those pashminas look great all rolled up with ribbon. The ladies will love them!
  13. Oh those are so beautiful Carly! They will LOVE them. Make sure to add a personalized tag so they know YOU made them. You should be so proud. Now send one to me! LOL
  14. Well I was going to suggest turning it right side up, but then I realized the dog is laying on the carpet. LMAO
  15. Or closer to the wedding you could send out a brochure with a timeline and explanation of events.
  16. Also if you are paying for it, it might be helpful to see who's interested in doing it for budgeting reasons.
  17. Black eyed peas (lets get retarded, my humps), anything Fergie, J-T, Gwen Stefani, Pussy cat dolls (specifically Don't cha so that you remember you want to be the hot GF)
  18. Disturbing. Ferret obsessions always lead down a spiraled path. Or something like that. lol
  19. GL in China! If you get bored, you know we will all still be here ooohing and awwing over wedding details!

I dunno- I guess it's just freaky that the damn thing moves anyways. Especially if you are playing with someone you trust to not move it. We have even had two people play blindfolded and it still spelled out words. I just don't get it. My college roommate and I did lots of "experiments" to try to figure it out.
  21. Yikes. I would have pissed my pants too. When I was 17, we had a French exchange student live with us for the summer. We went to my aunts house for a visit so my cousin and I were showing her the Oujia board (nice huh? lol). My cousin is my best friend and I know she wouldn't mess with me. Anyways, we were showing her how it worked and she wasn't even touching the thing. It started to spell out M-O-R-T. And then would go to R (for my name, I'm assuming) and C for hers. It just kept rapidly going back and forth. I was like "what the hell is mort?" Then the exchange student began to cry and freak out saying "Mort mean dead. Mort mean dead." So I asked the board how. It spelled out C-A-R. I then flipped because we were suppose to drive home that day- a 4 hr drive. As I was accusing my cousin for messing with me and she was denying doing anything, a door slammed shut. Could have been the wind, but I swear there wasn't any windows open. Nonetheless, all three of us ran down the street to my grandma's house (how convenient huh?) We were all three bawling our eyes out. We were terrified and I refused to get in the car to go home. It was a mess, but obviously I didn't die. To this day, my cousin swears she wasn't messing with me and she won't play it again either.

My first year living there we had some empty rooms, the next two years we had 1 person to a room...11 girls in a house can get interesting LOL My sister's sorority just has a sleeping porch. A massive room with tons of bunk beds. No thanks! Plus they all have to take turns waking one another up- even if you have no classes that day, you could be assigned to wake everyone up. I like your set up better! I'll have my own room, please!
  23. I'm not a huge fan of ballrooms, but this one is pretty. Do they do the backlighting like that or is that more $$$? I really like the last terrace posted- the one that's right on the water. How pretty! The resort looks like they do a great job with the table set ups.
