StephanieMN is getting married today..
jajajaja replied to TammyB's topic in CONGRATS & Shout outs!!
Yay! Congrats Steph. Cant wait to see all the small details come together- especially the candy buffet! -
Ummm didn't she watch the news with Paul McCartney? EVEN Britney Spears was smart enough to get a pre-nup. This is just insane and every day I keep waiting for Nick and Mariah to be like "ha! fooled you all. Only kidding."

Oh Sarah! That's incredibly scary. I am so thankful Shelby and her husband are ok. I love your positive outlook. This could bring your family closer together and it certainly might be the reality check that Shelby needed to understand that her family loves her and there is no need to run from them to a different relationship. Also, I think it will allow you all to become closer with her husband. My healing thoughts go out to them both- I was in a very bad car accident as well and I still have troubles with memory loss due to my head injuries. The most important thing is that your sister is strong and well!

Oh I totally miss Addison too. I was totally pumped thinking she was back but then I saw the previews for Private Practive. Booo- I'm sad now. And I really wish that one chick would just go away- Ms. I-forgot-everything-then-had-my-face-reconstructed-while-I-was-pregnant. Rebecca? Anyways, faking a pregnancy to trap Alex- grrrrrr....I hope Izzy kicks her ass.

I kept saying it looked like there was blood splatters all over the walls too- specifically in the stretcher room where that girl got dragged across the floor. Please tell me why she still works there if that really did happen? I wouldn't buy that story, but she had a freakin witness to it. The other girl had to jump on her to stop her from getting dragged. Next time you're in town you'll have to check out Fort Mifflin, which I do believe they just did an episode there! I can be your tour guide! Valley Forge is super scary at night.....the cemetery is SUPER spooky even though you aren't supposed to be there at night....but it's just as eery during the day. That was a cleaned up version of Eastern State? I couldn't believe the cells- there was absolutely no light and I think would think that would drive the murders to be more insane. I loved the story about the dog that got locked up for killing the cat. That was too funny. My dad wanted to go to Valley Forge- he's a history buff. We all whined so we didn't go. We were bored out of our minds at Gettysburg. It was crazy because it was such a nice serene day and we stood there looking at one of the bloodiest battle grounds. I wish we could have done the Gettysburg ghost tours! We stayed in Allentown, PA with our friends so we couldn't do it! I was totally bummed.

That's such a crazy insane couple to me. Is she off her meds again?

help me pick my earrings
jajajaja replied to AlmostMrsForbes's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I think it would be sweet to wear earings your man bought you. Your dress is beautiful. Earrings won't take away from that! -
I'm sorry to hear your leaving. It's not a permanent break up right? Just a "I'll see you around" break up? I like reading your witty comments! I do wish you luck though! If I don't get my ass off this forum soon, I could be unemployed.

I don't know how long our song was, but I wanted to add a few things as well. We didn't do a choreographed dance, but during our FD, it was a very nice moment for hubby and I to kinda relax. After the ceremony things are so fast- pictures here, pictures there, everyone hugging you. Then on to dinner- of course you eat. This was the first romantic moment we had during our wedding. While people could have been bored (I didn't care- drink more wine. LOL) I really enjoyed every second of our dance. We just had a moment to enjoy one another.

My BD order from VS! :)
jajajaja replied to Ana's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Oh wow. I feel dirty for just looking at them- LOL. Your FI will FLIP! Much better choice than the expensive ones! -
haha ya Maura and we are 27! I pissed her off earlier this week but pretty much telling her that those college days are done for me. I'll dabble here and there in some raunchy fun, but it just doesn't interest me any more. I partied hard in my early 20s. I'm ready to move on to the next chapter. She doesn't get it and I get crucified for being "settled" and "too old." Oh well- I have all my BDW old ladies to come back to. haha

Anyways, the theme is Corporate Ho's and CEO's. Gee fun. Not sure what I'm going to wear to that one. I already told her I won't dress up more than likely. She got all snotty saying "Why cause your MARRIED now?" phbbttt...whatever.

HELP with getting legally married

Ideally, I'l like to bring my FI and I along with our 2 mothers to just sign and be done. How was your experience? Some people on here have found someone just to sign official documents with- no ring exchange, no vows, etc. I'm not sure what's called "notarized" minister. I dunno. Maybe they will tell you what the person's title is. I got married in Vegas. It was quick and painless. We also didn't really have to have "real" witnesses. The guy from the wedding chapel and our taxi driver served as witnesses. It won't take away from your "real" wedding- trust me! You will still have plenty of emotions. -

I plan on calling the county courthouse to make sure we have everything we need to make it legal. We will be doing that this month! Yay! I never showed my ID once. Just used my passport for everything. You should be golden! -
Well crap. They changed their website. You used to be able to watch them. Must be too popular of a show now.

Vent: To invite or not to invite
jajajaja replied to nikkianddean's topic in Just venting or funnies
I was all ready to say not invite- after all the DW is the best way to weed out people. However, after reading this I would invite her +guest if your budget can allow. Granted, she didn't do that for you at her wedding, but I also think it's somewhat hard for brides to expect people to come to a DW alone. That's much harder than a 4 hr wedding. Just my 2 cents though. EDIT- I meant to add, I would only continue to invite her since you already told her she was pretty much invited. Since she's invited, I would let her bring a guest. -
Holy crap- I was going to list my boring weekend plans but now that "disneyland" is on the board, i'm going to keep my yap shut. I have nothing cool going on- unless you count my cousin's bday party in which she wants everyone to dress like skanky ho's- not so excited for that.
