Hi all...I was thinking of using fun pictures from the DW on the tables. Maybe table numbers or just a couple on each table (depending on who is sitting there). Does anyone have any good ideas? Or a place to find inexpensive picture frames? I can't find ideas for table numbers anywhere on this forum. if a thread already exists, please point me in the right direction!

Maybe I will set up a time where everyone meets for welcome drinks instead of dinner. Most of my family is coming on Saturday, which is the day before the wedding thats why I was thinking of having something.

Are any of you having a planned welcome/rehearsal dinner? I know some brides just show up with their guests to a restaurant and ask to accomodate everyone, but we have 45 people so I'm thinking that we wouldnt all fit.

It really sucks that you hate the dress. Is it possible for you to ask your mom to make a few alterations? I'm not sure how she would feel about that but maybe she could take in some of the extra fabric for you. You should post a picture, maybe its not as bad as u think!

How many do you need? Maybe we can buy them together so we can get a bigger discount. I need about 15 and was thinking of just ordering white ones or maybe ivory.

I really loved the resort I stayed at in the Dominican Republic. At the time it was called Sunscape the Beach but I think its Dreams Punta Cana. We enjoyed the food, especially at the Dreams restaurant and it had great locations for wedding receptions. when we went about 3 years ago, it cost us $2000 for the entire trip, which was a 4 night stay.

Good luck with your planning...choosing the resort is absolutely the hardest part. It is much, much easier to make any decisions after that!

FI and I went to JoS a. Bank and ordered this suit today. Its on sale for $129 and came with flat front pants (FI is not a fan of pleats). His tie is green with thin white stripes and he is wearing a long sleeved white dress shirt.

We bought a short sleeved linen shirt for the best man...but now I'm thinking that maybe they should wear the same thing (except for the tie)? Especially since the suit is inexpensive and probably around the same cost as tux rental (which is normal for most weddings).

Thoughts anyone?

this is the necklace that i'm wearing. I haven't tried it one with my dress yet so I hope it looks right together. the necklace falls a little different on me too. the starfish are a little further apart. Its called Swarovski Holly Starfish Double Pendant and its around $100.

I love these shoes! I really want fuschia but can't find any that I like/can afford. Did David's Bridal dye them for you? Do you like the way the dye looks? I haven't dyed shoes in forever.
