Congrats! I open way too many attachments so I never accumulate lots of points...but I LOVE the attachments so its all good I defintely need to add a picture...I've been on here for years without one.

Did anyone here skip the cocktail hour? What did/will your guests do instead? FI was against paying for free drinks and food so were not having it. Also bc I decided to buy a different dress and gave up on the cocktail hour...haha.

So I FINALLY settled on a pair of shoes after ordering and returning another 4 pairs. I bought dyeables so I can wear my pink shoes, but they are not the style I originally was going for. However, I have REALLY skinny feet and I was able to order these shoes in an 8AA (which I didn't even know existed!!!!) So they fit me perfectly. And I'm happy

What if you had open bar during a cocktail hour and then after dinner? Or just had it for 2 hours instead of 3-4? I've been to some weddings like that before and it wasn't bad. I was actually just down in Ft. Myers earlier this month. Too bad I didn't know about this earlier..I would have looked for you! Good luck.

In Massachusetts, anyone can become an officiant for one day. They just need to send in an application and $$. We are planning on having a friend do this so that we can just sign the papers to make it legal. We do not want to say any vows or anything so we can save that for the Mexico wedding. Not sure how this plan will pan out considering we haven't done that much research yet. Thats FIs only job and he hasn't done it yet

Oh crap is right! That really sucks. Did you call the resort? The room must still be available if it was just cancelled right? This might be a silly question bc my Canadian geography stinks....but is it possible to drive to the US and hop on a plane on the original date?

Jill~do you know if Sunday is a popular day for weddings. I'm not sure bc they dont do the legal ceremony on Sunday...I'm hoping that means that I will be the only wedding
