  1. I'm considering a DIY cake topper project..the ones I've seen in this forum are amazing! I can't seem to find any pictures of the cake toppers on wedding cakes...just in the DIY stages. Can someone please post a picture of their DIY wedding topper on their wedding cake? Thanks in advance!
  2. I just caught up on your planning thread and noticed that you are probably on your honeymoon!! Congratulations...I hope you had a wonderful day! I love your placecards...I think I may need to"borrow" that idea.
  3. I just sent Emme a PM about the luggage tags. If she doesn't want them, then I will let you ladies know!
  4. I haven't really thought too much about it yet (I probably should) but my ceremony is starting around 5 pm. I'm hoping it will be a bit cooler by that time. I'm also considering having my reception in the ball room if its available to have air conditioning. Cant decide!
  5. I have 70 hard plastic luggage tags for sale. All 70 luggage tags are clear. You can view them at this website Luggage Tag 1840-620x Colored Molded Rigid Plastic I paid .50 per luggage tag and will sell them for the same price. 70 luggage tags = $35.00. Prices do not include shipping! I will also consider splitting them up depending on how many you need.
  6. I'm finally finished with my Luggage Tags! I'm not sure why the pictures are blurry...they are not blurry at all!! I purchased the luggage tags from Carly and ID Card Group Luggage Tag 1845-200x Colored Semi-Rigid Vinyl I purchased Avery White Two-Sided Clean Edge Business Cards from CVS or Staples for around $10 for 120 business cards. It was pretty easy...just download template, print, and pop business cards out. I defintely recommend doing it this way if you dont want to cut out each and every luggage tag. 9. Is everyone giving out OOT bags in the rooms AND favors at the wedding? I haven't quite decided yet. Seems like alot to carry and can get pretty expensive.

The whole thing took like 3 weeks total from the start until they were in my hand :-) I like them...You can't beat it for the price :-) Hi! I'm also getting married at Dreams Cancun and wanted to put Koozies in my OOT bags, but my FI thinks its only worth it if the resort gives cans/bottles. Does Dreams serve drinks in cans/bottles?
  11. Great ideas ladies! I have a comment about the beaded charms...I made wine glass charms during christmas for FIs family and bought earrings from Michael's instead of using wire. In my opinion it might be easier because you dont need to worry about cutting and tying string/wire. Just a thought to save you some time... The earring-type things are called "Findings". I dont know much about making jewelry but there is a whole section of findings in Michaels, AC Moore and JoAnn Fabrics. please PM if you want to see an example.
  12. i posted a picture of my dress in this thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t39614

Pictures and labels were "borrowed/stolen" from Ayita. Thank you so much for you inspiration!! See this thread for her wonderful ideas! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t40367 What do you think? Opinions wanted!! Hangover Kit Labels.doc
  16. What are all of the July brides up to this week? I've been planning my friends shower and haven't done much for my wedding. I did make the labels for the Hangover Kits...at least thats something!
  17. I bought white favor boxes, individual packets of immodium and ibuprofen, powered Gatorade mix, and band-aids. I'm in the process of making a "Hangover Kit" label for each box using adhesive paper. The boxes are a little bigger than I remembered, so I may have to add another item or 2. Maybe some pepto and tums.
