Sorry this on a totally different topic! Is anyone having the legal ceremony at Dreams? My FI isn't big on the idea of getting married first in the US.

I looked at those pictures...and they look great! It didn't look like the ceremony locations were near the beach. The garden site would be perfect if you can see the beach from there. Do you know if the beach is close by that site?

Hi everyone! I need help! I can't decide on a DR resort. I am hoping to have the ceremony near the beach, but not directly on the sand. I was trying to find ceremony location pictures from all the resorts, but its taking FOREVER! If anyone knows a resort that has this type of ceremony location, please let me know. I would like the beach to be in the background of my ceremony pictures...it seems sort of silly...but it's what I've always dreamed of! Thanks for your help.

My friend recommneded stir-fry because of all the vegetables...she also said that sauce isn't usually that many points.

I am joining on Wednesday. So far I'm not too happy about it! I did a "trial run" today and went over my points by at least 3. Oops!

Thanks for the great welcome! I think the wedding will be in the summer of 2009... its kind of embarrassing that I am planning so early. I can't stop reading all of the posts and soaking in the info. I am going to have to limit myself to one day a week or something!

I found some really cheap bags on ingreetings.com and orientaltrader.com. I think some of the bags are less than $1, but they aren't as nice as those pink and white ones. I haven't ordered them, so I'm not sure of the quality. Let me know what you guys think of them...I am considering them for my OOT bags bc they are so cheap. I wish I could get those ebay bags...so cute! I have too many to buy though, and need to get them really cheap.

I've been trying to research a ton of resorts this weekend and the Riu resorts seem nice and affordable. I don't know why I'm stressing about finding a location...I have another 2 years! Does anyone have experiences to share about the Riu resorts, particulary the Riu Palace? I was also looking into the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort, if anyone has info on that one. Thanks!

Hi! I'm not sure about resorts banning topless sunbathing, but I did stay at Sunscape the Beach last month. It was a great resort! I only saw 2 topless sunbathers the entire time I was there. Most of the guests were American, and I don't think many Americans will sunbathe topless...but I could be totally wrong. Hope that helps a little!

I wanted to say and introduce myself to everyone. My name is Cassondra and I live in Massachusetts. I've been engaged since Feb, but I'm not getting married until 2009! It sucks, but my FI sister is getting married next summer. I haven't chosen a destination yet...but I am thinking about Bermuda, Cancun, or the Dominican Republic. I am open to any suggestions...I know its early but I'll feel better when I pick a location!
