  1. Hi! I LOVE these shoes...I've been searching for pink shoes. What size are they?
  2. Congrats! I've been doing WW since the end of February and lost 12 pounds. I can't wait until 20 pounds!! You must feel great.

This is what they said: "We are still available for July 12th , to book our services it has to be done through your wedding coordinator from Dreams Cancun"
  4. Sorry my camera battery is dead. When its charged up again I'll add some pics.
  5. Welcome to the forum! I'm a Dreams bride too. Claudia often takes a long time to respond to emails but I've heard that she responds more quickly as your date gets closer. As far as the place cards go, I think that it will be easier for you to do them. I am nervous that without place cards, there will be 1 seat remaining at a table that nobody will want to sit in... or something like that. Good luck and Happy Planning!
  6. Congratulations! I also chose to have a destination wedding for the same reasons. I am getting married the day before you at Dreams Cancun. All that I've done so far other than rings, attire, and invites is the OOT bags. I've also looked into bringing some things down to make my own centerpieces, because I don't think it is worth it to spend the $$, but thats just my opinion. Good luck and happy planning!
  7. Hi. I was debating about making my own invitations for my AHR, but the kind I wanted to make were still going to be rather expensive. My friend found a great buy at Target. The invites are off white with a green trim and a green palm tree on the top center. The invites also come with RSVP cards and envelopes. They were $25 for 50 invitations. Just wanted to let you all know. I would never have thought of looking at Target!
  8. Welcome to the forum! There is TONS of info on here about Dreams Cancun. I never could have planned my wedding without this forum. My advice is read through this thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t2782 It is really really long and has tons of info. Happy Planning! Cassondra
  9. We picked up our rings yesterday and I LOVE them! My camera did not take a great picture of them, but its the best we could get.

I emailed him a few days ago but I havent heard back. I also emailed Claudia, but its no surprise that she hasnt gotten back to me yet.
  11. I was torn between Citalli from Claudia Rodriquez team and Cecilia Dumas. I emailed brides on this forum and asked them to see their pictures. FI and I compared them and decided to go with Citalli, even though Cecilia is cheaper.
  12. In Massachusetts, anyone can become a JP for a day for only $25. So we are going to have a friend become a JP to take care of our legal marriage in the States. I'm not sure of the detials or anything, but I'm hoping that we will not be required to say ANYTHING to each other. I just want to sign the papers and pretend that we arent married until we get to our REAL wedding.

So I did a cost analysis where I showed the three columns: original cost, the cost of what they gave me for a swap and the difference. Collectively, the trades they offered me were worth over $1k less than the original offerings. I was able to use that to negotiate extending my reception for an extra hour at no additional cost. For example: Original Swap Variance Mexican Trio Sound System for Ceremony $560 $180 $380 Hope this helps! If you need me to send you the price lists, send me your email. I don't have enough points to post. Thats great advice. I emailed Claudia last night to ask for a few trades. If she declines, I will use your method to fight it. Thank You!
  14. Thats what I was thinking as well...but I just can't decide. My dress is definitely form fitting and there is NO extra room to move around. i'll probably keep my eyes open for a cheap dress for my TTD. Another thing to add to my list... Thanks for your thoughts!
  15. THANK YOU!! The pink lily on that website is exactly what I was looking for!! Did you already get your lily? what do you think of the quality?
  16. It's so much fun! I would definitely recommend a pole dancing bachelorette party! I went to one last year and its the most fun I've had at a bachelorette party.
  17. I'm finally starting to stress. My wedding date has been booked for quite some time now but I've been super busy this year with a new job and the wedding plans were put on the back burner. I've been reading through the more recent posts and have heard mixed feelings on what to book in advance. So far I've booked the photographer and just emailed DJ Mannia. What else should I do soon? I don't need the hair and make-up because 2 of my guests are hair stylists and will be doing my hair. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
  18. Thanks for the info about DJ Mannia...it reminded me to email him. I didn't realize he is so popular. Now I'm nervous that he will already be booked on my wedding date!
  19. Hello ladies...I'm on the hunt for a pink lily to wear in my hair. Has anyone seen one?
  20. Ok...I hope you are right! It is still a little snug around the middle, but I am planning to lose another 10 pounds. Thanks for your help!
  21. Hi! I'm hoping that brides who have already had a TTD can help me out. I'm worried that my dress will not be good for the TTD because its trumpet style. I tried it on last weekend and attempted to lay down...and almost fell over! I wanted to trash THE dress, but I'm wondering if I need to buy a different dress. Any input will be very helpful. Thanks
  22. Everything looks great! I LOVE your shoes...Im in the process of looking for mine now. Where did you buy them?

But they have really great prices even when there isnt a sale. The website is weddinglinensdirect.com. Sorry I was off on the price!
