FI and I went to JoS a. Bank and ordered this suit today. Its on sale for $129 and came with flat front pants (FI is not a fan of pleats). His tie is green with thin white stripes and he is wearing a long sleeved white dress shirt. We bought a short sleeved linen shirt for the best man...but now I'm thinking that maybe they should wear the same thing (except for the tie)? Especially since the suit is inexpensive and probably around the same cost as tux rental (which is normal for most weddings). Thoughts anyone?

this is the necklace that i'm wearing. I haven't tried it one with my dress yet so I hope it looks right together. the necklace falls a little different on me too. the starfish are a little further apart. Its called Swarovski Holly Starfish Double Pendant and its around $100.

I love these shoes! I really want fuschia but can't find any that I like/can afford. Did David's Bridal dye them for you? Do you like the way the dye looks? I haven't dyed shoes in forever. Have you tried looking on wedding linens direct home page ? I haven't purchased anything from there yet but I'm thinking about purchasing the chair sashes. Hope that helps.

OK...here it goes (i just discovered this thread I love it) confession #1: I really, really don't like my brother and I wish he wasn't coming to the wedding confession #2: I was pretty much fired from my first teaching job. I was getting laid off anyway because of budget cuts and they aren't hiring me back. My job sucked and I worked my ass off...but it still sucks. I wanted to tell THEM that I wasn't coming back, not the other way around. It was an absolutely horrible position and it wasn't possible for me to do everything that they wanted me to do, but I still feel like a failure. and I am really embarrassed and dont want to tell anyone. Ok thats it.

I'm thinking of going to Davids to try it on to make sure it will fit. $300 is more than I would like to spend on a TTD dress though...so I still need to think about it some more. thanks for the pictures.

We are also making cupcakes for the AHR. Instead of flowers, we are using seashell molds and making milk chocolate and white chocolate seashells. I think you can buy the molds at a craft store, but I haven't looked into it yet. Just another idea, in case the flowers dont work out. Good luck!

I just discovered this thread today. I love AI!! I DVR it too and almost missed Adam last night. We started recording the show after AI as well, just in case. I think that Scott should go home...his performances haven't been that great. I hope that Lil Rounds stays because she has an incredible voice...but she's been terrible lately. If Allison is in the bottom 3 again I'm going to be pissed off!

Hi! I just wanted to share that Weight Watchers has been very effective for me. I signed up online and track my points everyday, which really puts things into perspective for me. I started on 2/24 and have lost about 12 pounds...and I havent worked out at all. My diet before Weight Watchers was REALLY bad though, so keep that in mind. I didnt realize how bad I was eating until I started tracking my points. Also, I like the idea that I can ONLY eat a certain amount of points per day...so I feel really guilty when I eat more. Maybe if you try to track what your eating a different way you will see what changes you need to make? Good luck and try to stay positive!
