    ive been to this hotel and while it is nice they are not to close to the beach and you have to take trams everywhere the resort is so large... thats a big problem for me.. i like to walk to the beach

    i love the modern look of the hotel but with 40-50 guests its hard to make them pay.. all inclusive is much better for groups...

    i agree go with the candles... and you can travel well with them.. you could go to Michaels and get all different type of generic white candle pilars and get some cool lime green and brown ribbon and wrap around and put in the center of the table on a charger or something... super cheap...

    i think that bonfire idea at RIU would make for the best welcome dinner....

    I LOVE THEM! Thats exactly what Im going to do but Im not sure I can make on my own? Where do you buy the card stock for the tickets and where did you find envelopes? Does anyone know of a company that will do these type of save the dates for me?

    dont worry you will find the perfect place.. I lived and worked at a few of the all-inclusives in Jamaica and Im sure that I can help.... Besides RIU have you tried Jamiaca Grande or Trelawny Beach Hotel?

    wow how scary.... i know when we were in the domincan at secrets excellence the people that were at the airport with us were part of a group staying at RIU and they were bumped to Sunscape... They were dissapointed but they did get a free week to come back next year... But bad for a wedding party!
