OMG!!!! Dress #2 doesn't even let Dress #1 stay in the room with it anymore! That dress you just got is absolutely AMAZING and it looks like a dream on you! Wow!

OMG! That is crazy. I think FH needs to be tortured and hung by his toenails for not telling you he had given this *un-necessary* information to his family. Wow, that puts you in quite the pickle. I would just explain to her that you are stressed about he DW and want it to be perfect and that it is upsetting when you don't feel like your hard work and decisions are appreciated. But only after beating FH over the head with a frying pan.

Yeah, wish we had TIME or MONEY to take advantage of those prices before our DW. And we spent like double that for our airfare to Punta Cana for DW. Oh well, at least its done.

I'm giving ours an OOT bag and a cash tip based on her service leading up to our DW and on our DW day.

I'm going to do menu cards for the rehearsal dinner, b/c it's a sit-down ... but not for our beach reception, which is a buffet. The resort will usually have little cards in front of each tray with an explanation of what everything is. I'd check with your WC to be sure...

It's very pretty! Do you not like your first dress anymore? I am getting married in the gazebo as well, and don't think location makes any difference when it comes to picking a dress. So, if this dress is "the one" I say go for it. You can always sell the other, use it for a TTD session, etc.

LOL. I TOTALLY know what you mean! We are having a Couples Shower (thrown by Best Man & his wife) ... then my sister is throwing one up in DC for my older relatives and the few friends I have up that way ... and I have 2 friends who were planning one for here in SC. The two friends wanted to do separate showers even though I told them I really didn't need anything else ... and I finally just had to tell them they rally needed to do them together as one ... b/c like you, I couldn't expect my friends to go to all these separate showers -- and quite frankly I don't have the friggin' time on weekends for all this crap. I would see if something can be combined to take some of the stress off of you. Perhaps the families can throw a Couples Shower, or the Stock the Bar Shower, so that it's about the two of you and not just you. My brother has a Lawn & Garden Couples Shower when they got married and it was awesome.

I can;t speak to your resort ... but I know the beach weddings at my resort have come complete with the Speedo Euro's in plain sight. Thus, we are going with the Gazebo, which is off th beach.

Our WC says they will provide everything included in the price of the beach reception, and has sent these pics. I will bring small starfish to sprinkle on the tables ... but since they will provide the candles, etc ... I'll let them. :-) One less thing to lug. She says they will string lights as well as have tiki torches around the perimeter, and it sounds lovely to me! Here are the pics she sent, albeit kind of hard to see any detailing (we'll probably have them add aqua and/or coral cloths to the tables) -- and NO tents for ours!!!

Oh, and my TA is working through Travel Impressions, if that helps any as well.
