As for the "11" between your eyes ... I had that too. lol. Ah, the joys of aging. I have been using AVON's Deep Crease Concentrate daily for about a year now and it's gone, along with a lot of my forehead wrinkles and laugh lines. It took a few months to see the results ... but you might want to give it a shot since you've got time before your wedding. AVON- Products

    CONGRATS and WELCOME!!!!

Know the zone you want your rate to be in before you go. For me, if I got above 180, I new to really slow it down. After a while the classes got much easier. Definitly give it a shot. It's a great workout. Oh, another thing. If you want to take it easy at first, don't add much resistance to the bike. That's a great way to still do it all, but not overdo it. Cool, I'm guessing the Orientation is for other spinning 'newbies' like me ... but I think I would definitely want a seat cushion even for the first class. I can already feel my butt hurting just thinking about it.

  8. We are using Personal Wedding Websites - WedQuarters.com for our wedding website and even though it says you can upload music ... it doesn't work. Not sure if ewedding has the same issues ... but it's not possible to get the music to work for ours, which is a total bummer.

  10. Also, you should look into Jellyfish. Jellyfish restaurant Bavaro Punta Cana Dominican Republic You would have to have the restaurant arrange transportation (it's $5pp) but it looks like an absolutely beautiful setting and I have heard GREAT things about it.
  11. Oh, I wish I had some advice ... Have you checked your printer settign to make sure it's set for the correct size paper? BTW ... they will look awesome once you get them printed correctly! lol
  12. I hate going to Kohl's b/c it is on this one road that is always just GRIDLOCK. So, I won't be much help -- but I do LOVE those bags!
  13. lol, great story about how you got the pics! thanks for not letting us down! The dress looks great -- and WOW what a deal! YOu are lucky to have found it at that price! You are going to be a beautiful bride!
  14. My trainer doesn't want me to weigh myself ... but she asks if I have lost weight -- meaning do m,y clothes fit any differently. I don't care what my weight says as long as I LOOK the way I want to look (although losing some serious LBs is still the goal!). I started working out around the same time you did and I don't think I've lost much weight, if any yet ... but I am seeing a difference in my body.
  15. There is a Cycling Orientation next Sunday at the gym ... but you have to pre-register. Do any of you do the cycling classes? I have heard they are pretty intense so I wonder if it will be too much for me. A friend of mine used to do it but said his butt would be really sore from the seat?
  16. You should look into La Barcaza. We almost did that for our reception. labarcaza The menu looks great and the boat looks really, really nice.
  17. oh, how exciting! Is it expensive? I see a lot of places that offer it, but always just figured it's pretty pricey.

That is ssoo true! I am NOT motivated w/o a trainer. I will not push myself. But, I work out with her 2x a week and the other days she is having me do cardio and abs ... so that I can do on my own. I'm working my way up to 1 hour on the elliptical. I HATE that machine ... but I'm up to 45 minutes and I try to do a good 5 minutes fast in the highest incline for the glutes ... and I think that is working, along with everything she has me do on my days with her!

I like the way he writes in the Abs Diet so I will definitely check out the "Eat This" book too. 20. That's awesome. I love this kind of stuff -- but it only makes me realize that my favorite foods are oh-so-icky for me!! I just got the book that Jean-Marcus recommended -- "The Abs Diet for Women." My trainer says not to think there is truly an "Abs diet" ... lol ... but the book is pretty interesting and makes sense in a lot of ways. It also gives you 12 MUST HAVE things for you fridge or pantry. So, I am going grocery shopping this afternoon!

You might want to check out Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana as well b/c their gazebo is also really nice (at least in pics ... I won't know for sure until we get there for our honeymoon). They are in the same price range. We had a tough time deciding between Excellence or PPR for our HM.
  22. Wow, stiff competition here! Good luck to us all!
  23. Wow, this is a TOUGH month! NOt that every month isn't tough! lol. Good luck all you awesome MRS.'s!!!
  24. It's only been 3 weeks since I started working out ... but my workout pants are getting TOO LOOSE!!!!! And I went out with some girlfriends on Thursday night and one of them commented on how good my ass looked in my jeans! WOO_HOO!!!! I even had two old guys tell me they were looking at my ass!! That has NEVER happened to me before!!! It has me totally pumped up to stay focused and on track! I am going in to the gym today as soon as I can pull myself away from BDW! lol My trainer is kicking my butt but it's so great b/c she keeps reminding me that my wedding is right around the corner so she is pushing me and I really do love it. I hope I can keep affording her though! Ugh, it's pricey! Anyway ... just wanted to share! I haven't weighed myself, but she recommended that I don't until 6 weeks ...
  25. My trainer just recommended that I start taking both of these pills regularly. But she says to take the fish oil at night b/c it can have funky 'burping' side effects. hhmmm...
