Oh, those are gorgeous. I have never heard of them, but I would love to add something religious to our ceremony. This might be the perfect option! -
Got my dress!!!!!!!
foxytv replied to ajncooter's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I LOVE this dress! I never considered altering my neckline to a sweetheart bodice -- but what a great idea! It's going to look fantastic with that dress!!! -
As it stands now, the Saturday dinners or Sunday late-lunches will work best for me. And, no-go on that job, Brittney (boo...) so it's backto the drawing board.

What would be an acceptable fee for the TA if this is done? Is it like a consultation fee? Is it based on the number of people booking? Thank you! Cherie Hopefully Tammy (host) or one of the other TA members will jump in on this one. I didn't think a TA charged for services??

WOW! What a surprise to log on this afternoon and see this thread! I am honored to have been nominated -- much less chosen! All of the active members on BDW are so helpful and deserving -- so cheers to everyone! And Mel, CONGRATS to you -- MRS MofM!!! You know I love ya!!!

Wow -- I thought mine were good initially ... but as time goes on everyone improves upon things and mine certainly pale in comparison to your works of art!!! I can't believe you finished them in only 8-hours. It took me weeks, literally! How many did you do? Quote: Originally Posted by naga0066 So cute! Yep, just use a regular 41-cent stamp and you can use the RSVP card in postcard form.

I'm paying off the rest of ours on Saturday. Our TA was able to get us a $30/pp discount -- which she did not pass along to guests but instead is giving all to us -- so that is taking almost $1000 off what we will owe! YEAH!!!

Which Mugs to Use?

I do like th eones with the handles I am the only person I know of who wasn't 100% satisfied, so I think they are a safe bet -- but ensure that they are well aware of your demand to see the proof before they print and mail. For whatever reason, they promised the proof but I never received one -- for either of the mugs. I uploaded my own image for the imprint. -
WELCOME fellow Punta Cana bride! We share the same destination AND the same wedding date! I'm getting married at Paradisus Punta Cana on April 19th @ 3:30pm.

So I figure, I'll buy a fake band to wear at work. And Tami, I absolutely love your wedding band too! Aw, thanks so much ladies! Tom says it should arrive any day now and I simply can not wait to see it in person! But you can see why I wouldn't wear an e-ring with it. And Carrie, if you are going to get a fake one ... check out Sterling Silver Jewelry, Cubic Zirconia Jewelry, Faux CZ Jewelry, and Celebrity Jewelry for Less.. That's where I got my Tacori replica that is almost an exact look-alike for my e-ring. And it was only like $60 for the e-ring and matching band set. Looks ssoo real, people compliment me on it ALL the time. I just smile and say thank you.

SeaShell Order Arrived
foxytv replied to JessicaM's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
Wow, that's an awesome box of loot! And what a great price! I think I'll be following in your footsteps for my shell orders!!! Thanks so much for sharing! -
My wedding band will not allow for an e-ring -- it just wouldn't look right. However, my e-ring was stolen last year from the tanning salon ... so I am wearing a CZ replica for now. As an anniversary gift, FH will replace the e-ring, but when he does I will wear it on my right hand since the wedding ring is so detailed and intricate.

I am doing it all..I spend 1.5 to 2 hours in the gym 4 days a week and I circut train and do cardio and abs... I have to say that as of today I am down 2 more lbs...so that's 6 lbs total now in almost 4 weeks...it's still slow but it's coming off...and I honestly believe that if I didn't go to Vegas that weekend and slip a little then I would be down 8 lbs. Other than Vegas, I haven't cheated at all... so anyway, I am just going to be patient and stick to my plan and it should all work out. Plus I have kept night time eating to protein only and I barely even eat dinner because I don't get home form the gym until almost 9pm...so we will see... You are doing ssssooooo good! I cheat ALL THE TIME!!! And I only am in the gym for THAT long when I am with my trainer. I can't keep up the cardio for a full hour like I need to. You are rockin' with that weight loss!!! I wish I was down that much after 4 weeks!

GM Gifts... Help!
foxytv replied to FinallyMrsBeckermann's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
We got GM's Reef Dram sandals (w/ flasks in heel). And we are getting Dominican Rum upon arrival to add to flask. Can you just buy them a nice bottle of the local drink and give it to them at the rehearsal dinner? -
HAPPY B-DAY!!! I hope it's great! I just realized that celebrating your b-day must be why I got drunk last night! No need to thank me. That's what friends are for!!!

Which Mugs to Use?

Still bummed about their customer service, but it seems eveyone else has had great experiences ... so that's a good thing. There's always bound to be SOMEONE who is unhappy. In this case, it was me. Oh, and thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm up in the air between mixing it up or using all handle mugs (if I have enough with tight lids). Myabe the kids can get the no-handle mugs (only 2 kids though). -
Time between ceremony & reception
foxytv replied to ticia277's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Sure, you can give each person a "Wedding Day Timeline" in their OOT bag and directr them to a bar close to the reception venue ... that way they will be nearby when the reception is due to begin. We are (hopefully, $$ dictates) doing a 1/2 pre and 1/2 hour post cocktail reception at the wedding gazebo for our guests. We are hoping that will get the guests to arrive on time for the ceremony and will help fill the gap between the ceremony and reception.
