My Bridesmaid gifts!
foxytv replied to TATrisha's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Very nice. I also love the simplicity. -
I was off today -- but had to run in to the office to pick up my external keyboard and mouse so I could get on BDW on this crappy laptop. lol. Went to the gym today and Tom took me to lunch. Wrote some Thank You cards for my shower and slept late.

Any help or information as to how I can learn the website. thanks jessica [email protected] Jessica, I am using a backup laptop these days b/c my laptop motherboard is currently fried. All my files are on that laptop, so I can't send you the files. However, you need 50 points to download/open attachments ... so just keep reading and responding to posts and your points will add up fast. Several other girls have also posted their templates, so do an advanced search and you'll find some even better templates than mine. lol Hope that helps!!! Some even thought they were real tickets at first. lol. I highly recommend using them -- especially if you want the feelof your DW to be fun and casual. These invites go a long way in helping people understand that we want it to be a fun DW and not overly formal.

I'm a little of three -- Rose, Tulip and Orchid. Mostly Orchid .. but I'm not a huge orchid fan. lol.

The next thing I'm worried about is getting enough liquor, the last 2 B&D's I've been to they ran out of booze!! We'll have at least 200 jello shooters though, so if we run out we'll take tickets for those! WOW that is some party! Can I come? lol

Guests purchase entrance tickets and are entertained. I think we need to start these in the US! A wedding fundraiser sure would have been helpful!

200 Weddings A Day / Many Illegal/Invalid??

A symbolic cermony is more like a renewal of vows. It basically appears to be a real wedding for your guests, but it is done by a Master of Ceremony instead of a judge or priest, so it is not legally binding. We are signing the legal documentation at home before we leave for our DW. You can do a search on here for 'symbolic' or 'civil' ceremony and learn a lot more about it. -
Love it all! I guess I need to get my act together and start posting my planning pics soon. Oh geez, so much left to do! I LOVE your dress and your BM dresses! Actually, everything is so fabulous!!!

So the whole declaring issue is one I hadn't thought about. Why would we or would we not declare things? I've only been through customs once and I was 15 so I don't remember how it works. It sounds like we do not want to declare anything, right?

Alright, no fair that you ladies are so close to wine country! Tom and I are going to be doing some serious wine touring soon ... so be ready for us when we come!!!
-
lol. well, sorry I can't help you with an answer to your question ... but i think a balloon arch would look totally cheesy and quite frankly HORRIBLE for a wedding decoration (can we say 1980's ??!??!) I am certain some of the PV brides can help you though!

Do a search on here b/c there are lots of threads about discountmugs. also do a google search for 'discountmugs.com coupon code' or 'promo code.' i wans't very happy with the customer service -- but they eventually made things right ... but i think most everyone else had been exceptionally happy with this company.

ha ha. sorry had to laugh at the slippery fingers in your thread heading. "weeding arch".

The Hand and Sand Ceremonies are different. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t8765 This is our draft for the Hand Ceremony: Tami, please hold Tom’s hands palms up, so you may see the gift that they are to you. These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and vibrant with love, as he promises to passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will work along side yours, as together you build your future, as you laugh and cry, as you share your innermost secrets and dreams. These are the hands you will someday place with expectant joy upon your stomach, until he too, feels his child stir within you. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes: tears of sorrow and tears of joy. These are the hands that will comfort you in illness, and hold you when fear or grief engulfs your heart. Tom – take a look at the position of your hands with Tami’s. And know that this is the last time that you will have the “upper hand.†(short pause / laughter) Tom, please hold Tami’s hands palms up, so you may see the gift that they are to you. These are the hands of your best friend, smooth, young and carefree, as she promises to passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will hold each child in tender love, supporting and encouraging them along the way. These are the hands that will hold you tight as you struggle through difficult times. These are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick, or console you when you are grieving. Together as a team, everything you wish for can be realized. God, bless these hands … so that they may always be held by one another. May they have the strength to hold on during difficult times … yet always remain tender, gentle and nurturing. May these hands continue building a relationship -- founded in love and rich in caring. May Tom and Tami see their hands as healer, protector, shelter and guide. Amen.
