  2. Love it Heidi!!! What an absolute hoot!!! That is oh so much fun! We did the toilet paper game at my girlfriend's shower last year. Hilarious! I'm so glad it was so awesome for you!!!
  3. I love the 2nd and 3rd dress! Either one looks great on you. Can't tell about the bust of #2 ... other than it's sweetheart, though.
  4. Different make-up and hair can make a HUGE difference. Go to your nearest MAC counter and tell them your trouble -- and let them work some magic (they are great about showing you how to do it so that you can do it yourself). And depending on how attached you are to your current hairstyle -- a change can make a big difference. I look at pics of me from about 10 years ago and I look older then than I do now -- all b/c of the haircut I had. So -- I bet a new style could help add to your sophistication. Although -- I guarantee on your wedding day you will look like a beautiful goddess that no one thinks is a young'un!
  5. I signed up to start this again earlier this morning. I've been a bad girl and not to the gym since last Wednesday so this week it's on full throttle!!!
  6. You can email your WC and ask her to attach a resort map (that should get you the most up-to-date map). But here is one (sorry it's showing up so small ...)

I like to use white glycerine in combo with the clear to give the soap a creamier appearance. Good luck! Nope, you're not late at all! Tom and I went to Michael's yesterday, but I'm going to wait til payday to buy the rest of the stuff. I think I'll get one of the kits so that I have complete instructions, etc the first go-round. And I think you are right to start out simple. I think we better do that b/c if we don't -- I'm afraid we'll bite off more than we can chew and they might not turn out so great. Thanks for bringing me back to reality. lol

I expected it to be around $100, especially since all they need to do is alter the shoulder straps, do the hem, and bustle it!! Holy crap! $41 for just those things? I would have had a coronary! But honestly, I expected to pay closer to $100 for just the bustle. Maybe the hem is intricate? Do you have detailing that needs to be adjusted when they do the hem? I'm getting mine done at David's ... but I got a quote from a more select bridal salon and they said $75 for the bustle ... so I guess the different alterations add up -- but I am still floored by that high cost for you...
  9. OMG! GREAT pics! I love it all!!! It looks absolutely amazing and I'm so glad your photog kicks a$$!!!

It's costing only $45. Can you print out the pic of mine? Just take it with you -- or just let her know that you need a bustle option that highlights your dress' detailing. Can't wait to see how it turns out!!

It was a lot of work but FH and I did it all ourselves and it's a great sense of accomplishment -- and the feedback from guests has been fabulous!!
  12. They look great! And perfect tips/advice too! Wish I had known a lot of that before doing mine .. but they turned out good regardless. Love the colors you chose!
  13. I like the kids stuff! I need to fill 2 OOT bags for my little nephews, so love that idea!!!
  14. Because of the detailing on the train of my gown, the simple bustle like melglnh2o's wouldn't allow the detailing to show on mine. So, this is how mine will bustle -- more straight across the top with side buttons. Hopefully you can see what I mean...
  15. AGAIN? Geez. Thank goodness all of my mailing (except for Thank You cards) will be done by then. Ugh.
  16. I love it all! I may be stealing the handkerchief idea! That is ssoo perfect! And I love your soaps! (I am using some of the same molds for mine!!!)
  17. I'm not a Cabo bride, but I know in the DR A LOT of resorts have multiple weddings per day. That was NOT something I wanted ... so we chose a resort that sticks to only a single wedding each day ... although there is one just about every single day -- but that's okay - so long as other brides aren't trying to steal away attention on MY day, right?! :-) lol
  18. Yep, I'll add Tammy (host) b/c even though BDW has been down a bit lately -- it's all been for UPGRADES to keep us crazy ladies (and men!) on this addicting forum!! Already nominated my BTB.
  19. Yeah, we really need to know where that invite came from so we can try to search using the SKU code or something else. Just the pic is too random, though (at least for my search abilities!) :-)
  20. Just add the other girls on. It's ok to have 4, even if there aren't 4 GM. I hardly ever hear from 2 of my BM's anymore either -- so if they haven't spent much money yet, and you are comfortable with it, I'd explain it to them and see. Maybe they are feeling muvch like being BM's anymore. One of mine backed out and another I know would rather not be one now but she's already sunk the $$ into everything. So, you definitely have some options ... but for sure add the family members either way!
  21. There are a TON of threads in the OOT bag section that discuss Minimus as well as other, similar sites .. as well as different things to put in the bags. Try doing a search and you'll find a million answers.
  22. That is ssooo awesome and exciting!!! (now where are the Vegas pics you tease??!!??!!) Seriously, that sounds smart to stay back for a little while and get things in order! FH has some Army buddies in Puerto Rico and I think they are going to come over to Punta Cana for a day or two while we are there.
  23. Check back to my other thread. I added some sites for you to check out.
  24. Looks like the film is hard to come by ... so I'm going to pass but I hope you can find some use for them if there aren't any other takers!
