I've been looking for a bandeau swimsuit to wear pre-wedding, but nothing looks good on me. So, I'm going to tan before we leave and try to stay out of the sun for the few days prior to the ceremony. Shouldn't be hard b/c I will still have a lot to do upon arrival. lol Otherwise, I am bringing several cute little sundresses for evening wear. For day wear, it's bathing suits and either shorts or a pareo and some tank tops. I also have a couple of beach cover-up dresses. And really, what I take for week 1, I will wear again during week 2, b/c I simply don't have room with all of the wedding stuff we have to take to bring different clothes for 2 weeks. If anyone knows of some good deals on bandeau swimsuits, let me know.

I received my gift and it is ssoo awesome!!! It's the purse I wanted to use with my wedding gown (it matches my shoes!!) and it is even more perfect than the picture shows!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Only problem is, I don't know who my Secret Bunny is... so somebody needs to come clean! There was no note in the package.

I nixed the luggage tags b/c of the problems with the inserts (as I mentioned above). And as it turns out, our TA included several tags per guest with all of their travel packet information, so I didn't need to amke them anyway. Good thing. I'm starting to go CRAZY!!! :-)

Everything looks GREAT!!! I am FREAKING out b/c I have ssoo much still to do and no time ... so you are lucky to have gotten so much done early in the game! Your day is ssoo close!!!!!

Brittney, I can totally relate to your frustration. You may recall I'[ve had some super BM issues and honestly, one of my BM's has not turned out to be the friend I thought she was and I really wish she was not a BM anymore -- but there is no backing out on my part now. If she is hemming and hawing, I think the frustration you feel now will only get worse ... so based on my experiences, I would just tell her not to worry about it b/c it seems too muvh of a hardship. I think you will save yourself a lot of headaches later ... but the heartache will still be there b/c you are going to still be hurt and disappointed.

We are dividing up a lot of the things we have to bring down (centerpieces, OOT bags, etc) among other guests who are closeby and can help get things down there. We also have some old luggage that we are using and will just leave behind so we don't have to bring back extra luggage for things like OOT bags.

ALL of my friends are out partying tonight ... but we had my bachelorette weekend at the beach and just got back yesterday so I am BEAT and have ssoo much to do around the house b/c both sides of the family are coming to visit this weekend for our couples shower. And, I have so much catching up to do with things online and trying to get settled into my new job. So I ma bummed, but having to skip St. Patty's this year. bbooo... And I am ssoo stressed tonight as it is., I think I am going to go get ice cream and have a cry. lol

These are our BM dresses. Using both of these styles but all in the champagne style. Bari Jay, Styles 249 and 251 -- The color is Beige and it matches the champagne trim on my dress perfectly.

We will be at Paradisus Punta Cana and have some kids coming with us. There is a Kids Club. I would search out a TA familiar with PC and ask which resorts are the most kid-friendly (I know one of the TA's on BDW has plenty of DR/PC knowledge, just can't remember her name offhand).

OMG! I have not gotten ANY prices for the dance floor for our PPC wedding and have not seen ptices listed anywhere, so my assumption was that it was included in the $2500 fee for the beach reception. I am going to FLIP OUT if it's extra $$$$...

Ours is at 3pm. Hoped to push it til 4 but not possible. So ceremony is at 3 and reception begins at 5pm. Was hoping for pre and post cocktail reception at the gazebo but not sure if $$ will alllow... So, there could be some lag time for guests but hopefully they won't get too hammered before the reception starts. lol.

We are doing the beach reception from 5-8. Not chill-out chic, just the basic, but we've got closer to 40 guests. We'll have a dance floor and bringing our own centerpieces.

Paying now. So sorry. THis new job really has been doing a number on me. I NEVER have time to get online anymore...

Yep, mine was 50% up front and the other 50% no later than 2-weeks before the DW. I am about to send off the final payment.

The translation is part of the ceremony. The WC will do the translation. It's customary unless you DON'T want it.
