  1. Adam Sandler - "I Wanna Grow Old With You"
  2. I bought a second wedding dress. I got it off eBay for $97 -- and it was the same designer, style and size as my actual wedding dress ... just more simple and all white instead of ivory and champagne. I actually just threw out my TTD b/c it didn't come clean after the session -- however, be it noted that we walked around the resort and the train was dragging behind me and dirt just got ground in to the wet dress AND I didn't try to get it clean until recently (and our DW was in April) ... so that being said, I am sure that's why my TTD didn't survive, lol. My actual wedding dress got pretty dirty around the bottom during the reception, but I had it cleaned as soon as we got home and it was good as new for our AHR. I just didn't see spending $150 to get my TTD cleaned when I wouldn't ever wear it again -- and it cost less than that in the first place. Ok, now that I've rambled, here are some pics of it: And here's the link to our TTD shots (I wore a white sundress for some of the pics). Day-After Pictures: www.pictage.com/482872
  3. LOVE these! I am now thinking that since it will be close to Christmas before we get our Thank Yous done, this would be a great thing to include in our Thank You cards as well, with a charm and little hang tag that has the location and wedding date for those who were able to travel to our DW with us.
  4. Try this site -- and just ask which AA dress styles they have already -in stock- and in Jade (you can get it altered if it's a bit too big). And definitely GO to any bridal salons locally and just ask what they might have on the rack that's AA in Jade and worry about size after you find a dress. I know there is one out there for her!
  5. Cute, fun idea!!! I like the baseball favors with your names and wedding dates on them! We did a cupcake tower at our AHR, with starfish on top (made from candy molds). You could do something like that with the baseball theme as well. And of course just keep it as a ballpark food theme w/ hot dogs and hamburgers but with a gourmet toppings bar (similar to the taco bar theme). Can't wait to see this one!!!!!
  6. Your flowers, your colors, and YOU -- breathtakingly beautiful!!!
  7. I think 1 and 4 are the absolute best (I voted for #4), but I also like #3. #2 is not my fave on you. But you have a rockin' bod so you are lucky you can pull off some of those styles! Whatever you've chosen will be phenomenal.
  8. Great thread! Wish I had seen it before my DW b/c I missed a few pics that I wanted b/c I did not tell our photogs what was most important to us. We had a lot of pics of DH's family, because they are very animated, I presume, but very few of my family ... and I never got one of just me and my Mom, which I regret. Regardless, we have sensational pictures ... just wish I had taken the time to give our photogs a list ahead of time, as recommended.
  9. Those pictures are absolutely amazing! DH has told me about the Cenotes and how we have to go see them (he has been several times) and I simply can not wait! Darn it to BDW for giving us too many friggin' places to visit! Wish we could be an a never-ending vacation and just travel everywhere!!!
  10. Crazy story, but your pics are GREAT! You are too cute!!!
  11. BM's walked down the aisle to Katie Melua's "Just Like Heaven." Everyone thought that song sounded like a dream ... and it was just ssoo perfect for a DW.
  12. It's whatever you prefer. Your Mom or older brother could walk you down the aisle (I agree with everything Agape Gems posted above). Or if you have a close relative or friend other than your Mom or brother, they could also. That's the joy of DW -- anything goes!
  13. Just beautiful! You look amazing in your dress and the two of you are a fantastic couple.
  14. LOVE those dresses! What a steal and they are going to look fabulous!!!
  15. I am a recent FB addict -- much to DH dismay, since I am still a BDW addict as well. lol. Anyway, I just joined the BDW-FB group!
  16. CONGRATS and welcome! How exciting to start nursing school and plan a wedding! You will love this forum!
  17. I would say plan on and expect to pay for her to do all the girls hair (as a wedding gift to your BM's and as an obligatory expense for your hairdresser). If she plans on coming regardless, you can offer to pay for part of her trip, but it's really not necessary if she is someone who would have been on the guest list anyway.
  18. If you can't afford them for all the guests, then I would say just the bridal party. $10 each is a lot of money if you have a lot of guests coming. :-)

    Flowers

Beautiful! They are going to look gorgeous together.
  20. There's one in every crowd. lol. F&*^ them, I say. :-)
  21. Ssssoooo, unless I missed your response buried somewhere in all these pages (lol) which one are you going with? I chose #2 b/c it is oh so very flattering on you ... but all three are great choices and you can't go wrong with any of them!
  22. Just catching this thread and those books are unbelievable! I love them! What time and effort that took!
  23. I was going to use our iPod, but couldn't get a straight answer from the resort about what adapters we needed to bring. So, the day before I ended up burning our playlists onto CD's and usng those. It worked well. I liked it better than a DJ b/c you never know if they are going to have all the music you want played. Our guests were really pleased with our reception music picks ... but we planned for WAY more music than e got to play -- so make sure you put the must-plays up earlier in the playlist! ;-)
