  1. I wore heels for the ceremony. My Dad helped keep me stable since he was holding my arm down the aisle anyway. Other brides are doing barefoot sandals or do some of the high-wedge flip flop type shoes. That's what I changed into for the reception (although really ended basrefoot) but I did use the high wedge flip flops for our AHR and they were perfect - same height as the heels for the wedding so the dress didn't drag at all.
  2. How about seeing if can find some of the "hard to get" items like Wii or the Wii Fit, Xbox, etc?
  3. The Conventions Terrace is beautiful, but it's really close to the Lobby Bar...
  4. Well, found an Oktoberfest costume that I really do like. Gretchen Adult - Costumes $50? Whatcha think?

  6. I think I found one that we will have fun with. Nothing crazy - but a German Beer Guy & Gal. I can get him the Lederhosen shorts, suspenders, shirt and hat and I'll get the little German biergarten girl dress and we'll carry around our steins. I'm going to check eBay for that sort of stuff b/c I don't want to buy those 1-piece costumes...

  8. Very nice! I like the folding of the envelopes. The way I did mine worked great but was a lot of work. Your way is much simpler and looks great!
  9. Beautiful. What are your wedding colors? Maybe add a splash of color?
  10. All those pics are so great! Vibrant and beautiful! I love the fun ones when you are on his back - so much personality! Your TTD dress is gorgeous!!! And I was right - your gown was the same one that I used for my TTD .... it was so heavy when it got wet. The TTD dress you chose was just PERFECT! You are gorgeous!!!

  14. Beautiful dress! Are you wearing it in the Silver Haze color there? I just love that! I loved wearing a veil, but took it off at the reception.

  17. What are you dressing up as this year? I haven't dressed up for Halloween in several years - but we have free tickets to this awesome party this year - and the costumes are always unreal. So, I need some ideas for Tom and I. Let's share what you've been in the past or just some cool ideas. We don't want to spend a lot of money on costumes, but I don't mind DIY at all. I'd rather do something unique as opposed to just renting a costume - but we're open to anything!
  18. I have been looking at different programs to make my wedding album, and albums for the families ... and since I have a Mac, come of the more traditional programs aren't compatible. So, I would like to use Asukabook.com, but when registering, it says that it's only for professional photographers and graphic designers. Any suggestions?

That has got to be the most unbelieveable gazebo I've seen on the cliff like that! CONGRATS!!!!

The Gabi bar area in the Reserve section is BEAUTIFUL - I just wish we had taken more pics of it, as I don't have any to show you. It's the most upscale area of the resort and is breathtaking - although it is NOT on the beach. But they do have sand, so it feels beachy.
  21. You gals are all gone LOVE PPR. It's so luxurious and beautiful! CONGRATS to all those I haven't had a chance to send shout-outs to yet!

But the gazebo at PPR is at the pool. Not the best place for a DW ceremony, IMHO, but we did see one there while honeymooning at PPR - it was in the evening after the pool closed, so at least you didn't have swimmers all around, lol. PPC is definitely the better of the two gazebos.
  23. We got married at PPC and the gazebo is on a hill, just off the beach. People from the beach could see it, but weren't close enough for us to feel that they were infringing on our day. I would say it's definitely "semi-private." Also, we had a beach reception, but it was 100% private b/c the put up palm fronds around the exterior, which made it impossible for people to see into the reception unless they happened to walk by along the shoreline of the beach. I highly recommend both of those options. We - and our guests - continue to rave about it. Here are a few pics: Notice the palm fronds behind the buffett table for reception privatization.
