  1. We are TTC but not with any luck so far. We were TTC at first w/o charting, etc, just doing a lot of BD! :-) Now, DH isn't involved in the charting, but I've started and am just beginning to learn more about CF and my cycles and ovulation, etc. I have my annual GYN appt in November, so if there's still no luck by then, we'll see if she can do some tests to ensure we don't need help. I'm so anxious and want it to happen, but (trying) not to get really getting obsessed yet!
  2. The mamajuana IS strong - that's why they call t "Dominican Viagra" ~ but we drank it every day and brought plenty home. Now we and my brother make our own from the herbs we brought home and it's always a hit when we have people over! When you make it on your own, you can add more honey and red wine to sweeten it up a bit and the more you make it and let it sit, the better it will taste.

We're Spanish And We Love Us Some Good Merengue Music...lol....lol......lol Jess The setup we had, with the dance floor as part of it for no extra charge, would be great for a merengue band!
  4. Those pics are great! Don't know why you are camera shy - the camera LOVES you!!! Those are some seriously SEXY pictures!
  5. Love it! Think I'll get the shamrock one for DH for a St. Patty's day gift since he's Irish!
  6. I'd love to take it to the Genius Bar, but we don't have any MAC stores around here. I will next time I visit my sister in ATL. I think I am just not familiar with how to navigate the MAC b/c the files are all there (no corruption on the EHDD, and can view everything if I use the external hard drive with a PC ... I think I just don't know where to look or how to navigate properly. I'll check out blurb.com! I see the PhotoBook option on here, but I want to do different background and such and this one seems much more basic, like plugging pics into already made templates. I want to be able to use my pics as full-bleed backgrounds and then add other pics on the same page ... but again, I may just need a Mac for Dummies lesson. I'm trying to figure all this out on my own, and I have a PC mind for the last 20+ years. :-) Thanks for the advice!
  7. Boys will be boys! I had to email all the GM for their shirt sizes and I just ordered them all and brought them to the DW to ensure no one forgot them. lol. I even got pants sizes for the guys who were taking too long and ordered those as well. I wouldn't have even let DH and his GM have that responsibility b/c they love Miller Lite and Grand Marnier too much, hehe. But I am sure it will all be fine! ....deep breath....
  8. So cute! Love them! I love you guys in the field of flowers!!
  9. Oh they are great! You certianly can't tell that you don't feel good! And you can just see the love in each others eyes when you are looking at one another in those pics!
  10. Beautiful dress and it looks fabulous on you! WOW! And his suit is great too. But back to the dress, I love the detailing and the back is awesome!
  11. I am still getting used to my new MAC - I love it - but some things are so different than my PC. I have my external hard drive that I used with my PC and it has all my PC iTunes files on it. But when I plug it into my MAC, it doesn't read those files so I can transfer them to iTunes on my MAC. Any suggestions? Also, anyone know of some good PhotoBook software to use with MAC? The ones I've found don't allow for much creativity. I like Asukabook.com ... but it says you have to be a professional photog and I don't know how to get around that requirement b/c it asks for your website, company name, etc. I have plenty more questions, but thought I'd see if there are any BDW MAC users first.
  12. Oh how exciting! I love it and the sweetheart neckline will be AWESOME!!! I'm so excited for you about the price too! yowza - that's so fantastic!!!! can't wait to see you in it!!!
  13. Great pics! Can't wait to see the rest! Looks like a fairytale day for you two!!!
  14. How exciting! I got teary eyed too! But where are some teaser pics, you big tease! We don't want to have to wait for the MTV episode!!! :-)
  15. Thanks ladies! Our photog just emailed last week that our prints are FINALLY in and so I'll be getting those and the CD with all our hi-res pics in the next few days. Then I can share a few other favorites that weren't included in our Teaser Pics! Can't wait to start making our PhotoBooks!!!
  16. Personally, I think you will regret it. We got family shots, but I have NONE with just my Mom & I, my Dad & I and my Mom, Dad & I and I HATE that we didn't get those. It just slipped our minds. And we also forgot to get a full group pic on the beach. You can get creative with those pics so they aren't just "standard" though. (see the bridal party pic in my siggy, or look at my teaser pics). There are plenty of ways to not have them be so "typical". But I would never have NOT gotten family and group shots done. I want to be able to look back at those pics in years to come .. and hopefully my children adn their children, etc will too...
  17. Love it! It is very fun and funky and rocker-esque! Sounds like it matches your personality to a tee! ROCK ON!!!!
  18. YEA! How exciting! You look so happy and make a great couple! CONGRATS!!!!
  19. Beautiful! I LOVE it and it looks unbelievable on you! You fit it like a glove! I tried on many, many dresses and thought I found "the one" but when I went back to try it on, I saw one I thought I'd like to try ... and IT was the one! Congrats! One more thing to check off the 'to-do' list!
  20. Then you definitely are a New World wine lover! Here's a more easy to understand breakdown I found online. Pretty much what I said, but this is probably better said. :-) "Up until recently, I thought the Old World and New World references pertained to geography, Old World wines being those produced in countries that have been producing wine for hundreds of years (i.e., Germany, France, Italy) and New World referring to those countries relatively newly into wine production (US, Australia, South Africa, etc.). But lately I've heard those OW/NW references made to a style of wine -- OW being (maybe) more earthy, musty, etc., and NW being fresher, fruitier, crisper, etc."
