  2. Yay! Welcome from one Punta Cana bride to another! Have you been to the DR before? Our wedding was our first time and it was AMAZING! You are right about this website! I got just about every single idea for my wedding on this site. It totally rocks! The DIY Forum and DR threads will be totally invaluable tools for you as you finish your planning! Your big day is just around the corner!!!
  3. Beautiful! I love it and it will be perfect hemmed to floor length!!!
  4. Totally bummed - I can only get my compuer to open up pages 2 and 3 of this thread - not the page with the actual pics. gggrrr ... I am sure it just has to do with the server updates ... so I'll keep trying. Danielle - I can't wait to see your pics!!!

I would also sign up for the free Charting Courses on FF. They email you one once a day and it's really, really helpful in learning how FF works and how to read your body. I just took the test today and got my certificate for passing the course. Free, and worth it to better understand your body. Also, if you want to get the VIP service at FF after your free trial is up - don't sign up at full price. After you let the trial lapse ... you'll get an email for a discounted price. I joined for 90-days (hopefully all the time I'll need, lol) for $16.90 ... which was a pretty significant discount. PM or email me anytime if you have '??' ... but you know I'm still learning the TTC ropes (and the emotional ups and downs)! ;-) Sending you some fabulous BABY DUST!!!

I know I should take my temp and all that but just say that it is correct with its prediction..... Kat - I definitely recommend getting a Basal Body Thermometer at the drugstore. (about $9.99) FF will give you estimated fertile days based on your cycle length - and assuming it is accurate in guestimating when you ovulate ... those are the only days you are fertile. It's a method (rhythm method) many use to AVOID pregnancy as well as ACHIEVE pregnancy. Using and recording your BBT is ssoo helpful (I started recording my cervical fluid - CF - the first month and then taking my BBT and recording CF and other symptoms on FF after that) b/c based on that info it will track and record what your fertile days are. You are safe on other days from conceiving.
  7. Welcome! Always great to have more knowledgeable TA's on hand!!!
  8. Welcome Dave! We got married in PC and it was absolutely phenomenal! The info here on BDW is ssoo helpful during the planning process! Hope to se you in the DR threads and get to know you better as you get everything in order for the big day!
  9. Definitely #1. It looks beautiful on you! I love the way it shapes your body - as well as the color and detailing. #2 is beautiful too, and if it is more your style, then go for it.
  10. my abdominal muscles: disappeared
  11. Thanks for the heads up! We will try to keep our BDW stalking to a minimum during these days - although it's going to be hard! It's become a regular part of my workday whenever I have to log online at one of my account stops. lol
  12. Oh wow I would totally do it so long as job security isn't an issue once you get back to NJ. That would be my only concern. Tom and I have talked about movin to Costa Rica for good once we can afford to not work. It's only for a year and I think you would soon agree that it IS the opportunity of a lifetime. Plus, if flights are affordable - I guarantee you'll have visitors!
  13. What fun pics! Those 3 are great! I'm going to have to look at the gallery to see the first place pics, b/c Sol's 5th and 3rd place finishes sure do look pretty amazing.
  14. DH and I will probably either not do gifts and save our money for things for the new house .... or just do a joint gift for each other (but we will be filling each others stockings). Having our DW this year makes gifts for family easy - photo booksand framed pics. lol
  15. oops - saw my Scott answer posted late ... so here goes with Mrs. D To Be's response: scottish: Irish
  16. scott - Audi (he used to work for Audi)
  17. Beautiful BM dress! That blue is ssoo great! Truly, you can do whatever you'd like. I wore ivory and carried and all ivory rose bouquet. My BM's wore champagne and carried bright colored bouquets and it was beautiful - but your options are as boundless as your imagination!
  18. Just beautiful pictures! Great job!!!! And what a better contest to win for their wedding day!!!
  19. I LOVE it!!!! I need to look for a dress like that just b/c I love it! ;-)
  20. Well said, Maureen! I echo your sentiments 100%.
