  1. I had not heard of this until your post - but it looks like some seriously great stuff at great prices. I see that it is PayPal verified, which is good, but I would Google search reviews of product quality to see if you can find any feedback.
  2. Tara - Those are some great pics! Absolutely breathtaking!!!!
  3. Oh I love them!!! That one at the bar w/ your backs to the camera - your silhouette is oh so sexy! All the ones with the cowboy hat are GREAT!!! And of course, I love beer too!!!
  4. That's great ladies! I went on a bit of a drinking bender this weekend, so got NO workouts in. Now I feel so guilty so I will doing it again tonight. I'm still on Level 1 with 3lb weights but it has gotten much easier next time. I'm going to stay on Level 1 til I can do it w/ 5lb weights ... then move to Level 2 w/ the 3lb weights and go from there. I hadn't noticed any weight loss yet, but I am sure some of my extyra jiggle is tightening up, so I wouldn't expect to see anything on the scale yet... Keep it up ladies!!
  5. We did not do flowers for the men at all. I had the natural touch flowers which I ordered through [a company]- but I don't think they would be able to fit you in b/c they take orders about a year out now it seems. However, there are numerous other online companies that you can order the natural touch flowers from - or check out stores like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc to see if they have flowers you like. We transported our flowers in s separate suitcase that we checked and had no problems.
  6. Kelly, you were a beautiful bride!!!! Can't wait to seemore pics. How was the Paradisus
  7. Oh Yay!!!! Have a fantastic time! I can't wait to hear all about Puerta Plata and see your wedding pics!!!
  8. Definitely do it! I have friends who have done it and loved it and want to go again so we are thinking about takin a class just for fun. Perfect for just before Valentines Day too!!!
  9. Very bizarre. The bridal party should definitely get an invite. Has she been keeping you up to date on activities, locations and times? I had several guests tell me it was ok not to send them an invite (BM's and guests) to save $$ but I sent them anyway. I hope she didn't follow this mis-guided rule of thumb for anything else in her wedding, lol.
  10. I'd like to try kickboxing .. but I have to wait until a new class starts up. Another few weeks. But hopefully I'll have progressed in my 'fitness mode' soI won't die in that class! I've heard it will totally kick your ass!!!
  11. Good for you for just being in the boot camp! I have a hard time with more than 10 push-ups in a row and pull-ups, well, forget about it. Stick with it though and you'll improve every time. I guarantee it!!!
  12. Did Level 1 again this evening and made it all the way through! Yay! I am still sore from the last 2 workouts though ... so I know it is making a difference! My thighs are ssoo sore I had to use the Handicap bathroom, lol. OMG! Fingers crossed for seeing progress soon! Keep up the good work ladies!!
  13. That's a great idea! I made a monogram that I blew up and used on our OOT bags (ironed on) and also on lots of other wedding-related stuff, including our travel mugs. Everyone loved it all! I got the ticker at Graphical Tickers and Trackers: Weight Loss, Trying To Conceive, Pregnancy.... :-)
  14. Congrats and Welcome Kimber!!! You will find plenty of helpful info on here for your DIY projects. And BTW ~ I LOVE your siggy ~ it looks fantastic!!!
  15. Congrats and welcome!!! Love your cruise siggy ~ it looks fantastic!!!

On a side note for Prettyhazardous - I noticed the Ravens on your post......GO STEELERS!!!!!! Sunday should be great! Hope you all have a better weigh-in then me! Don't be so down on yourself. It's probably b/c you are building muscle, so in another week or two, you'll likely see a huge drop on the scale! Just keep it up!!
  17. Hi ladies! I'm trying to match you on all these spectacular accomplishments! I did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (level 1) last night and the Abd Diet Workout for Women DVD this morning. LOVE them both but they are definite butt-kickers! PLan on doing Jillian Michael's again this evening after work.
  18. Jellyfish was AWESOME. We didn't have any wedding functions there - but went with a group for sinner one night and by ourselves for dinner another night. It was absolutely fantastic. It's a "don't miss" for anyone who will be in Punta Cana.
  19. I just designed our wedding album, Jill ... but the software I used (Personalised Photo Books and Canvas Prints from Digital Photos) required me to order it from them . However, it turned out fantastic and the quality of the book is phenomenal. Here's a link to my rough draft - although I made some modifications with color and backgrounds, etc before printing. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t30472 (be sure to scroll down b/c there are several posts with pics - it's an 84-page album). I can send you a link to my final product if you are interested.
  20. I did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for the first time today. My legs are already sore. I'm going to do it again tomorrow morning and try to do one of my workout DVD's 2x a day (morning and evening) and/or get to the gym for some elliptical and/or treadmill.

I should have started before the holidays.... I haven't seen Jillian Michaels on any of the Exercise TV channels. But I will tell you that you DO have plenty of time to lose the weight and tone up before your wedding. I did it in 3 months last year. I got a personal trainer 2x a week for 1 hour each ... then worked out on my own (mainly elliptical, treadmill andf abs when I was on my own) 2-3x a week and I lost just over 15 pounds, dropped several sizes and was ssoo excited about how I looked at our DW and in my bathing suit. So, just know it's not too late. Just don't be a lazy ass like I was after the wedding and gain the weight (plus more) back. Good Luck!!!
  22. So, I couldn't find it at Costco either, so I kept the one I bought at Target and did Level 1 as soon as I got home tonight. Now it's time for a confession. Reading about how everyone has done it and it was tough seemed a little far-fetched to me at first. I thought, "come on" - it can't be THAT hard. So I bought 3 and 5 lb weights and figured I'd try the 3 lb but would probably use the 5 lb. I mean, I worked out ssoo hard before our wedding and was in fantastic shape. But - after tonights 20 minute workout ... it's a harsh reality that I have become VERY out of shape since we got back from our wedding. I couldn't make it through the effing 20 minutes without stopping to catch my breath. So disappointing. But I think it's helped me realize - and FAST - that if I want to reach my weight loss and fitness goals, that I have a lot of work to do that won't happen a) overnight or on its own. Just wanted to say CONGRATS to all of us who are taking the right steps - and who have made it through this workout! I know we'll all be to Level 3 and kicking butt in no time!!!
  23. Also, almost everyone in our group (if not everyone) had direct flights. We flew from Charlotte, New York, New Jersey, DC, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver and Orlando.
