I just want to get your opinion if it's worth adding this at the end. I think it's a very symbolic part of the ceremony and I want to do it- but only if it flows right and doesn't look funky! Thoughts? Thanks a million
Our ceremony was a symbolic (did the legal-ese before we left for our DW). The sand ceremony wasn't part of our ceremony at all. We did a Hand Ceremony as part of the actual ceremony, though, which was read by my uncle. Didn't want too much during the ceremony, so that's why we saved the sand ceremony for the reception. We think it was perfect just before the cake cutting. Worked for us (and we didn't do a reading with it - just poured the sand while people were gathering for the cake cutting).
