  1. You can get corrupt files (which it usually tells you about and you can abort) before they download. And if you allow others to share your music, you can become more susceptible to problems on your computer. But if you only set your parameters to download files and not let others upload then you should be fine.
  2. I haven't had any security issues, but am going crazy with the file names. aarrgghh!! :-)
  3. using it now for even more downloads! Love it!! Thanks for posting!
  4. Anyone out there usng Limewire.com to download music? My question is that anything I download directly to iTunes from a CD registers with the artist/song name/album title. BUT, anything I download from limewire, while it lists all the info in my Limewaire library, only transfers to my iPod saying "Track 1", etc. So, I have dozens of songs that only have a track number. Didn't know if there is a way to configure it to carry the info over from Limewire to iTunes. Otherwise I'm going to have a helluva time going back and forth and changing all these names. Ugh.
  5. I hadn't heard of sharedink.com, so that's good to know about. Not sure how Jill is doing my BD photobook, but I'll let you know how it goes once I receive it. I defeinitely want to find the best quality because I plan to use it to make several books over the next few months. Thanks!!
  6. We're doing ours before -- I wanted to do a shor vow renewal at our AHR in MD since that's when most family will be there ... but Tom says absolutely not. But that's maybe what you can do ... a vow renewal/bbq ... that way it doesn't even have to be in a church / courthouse unless you want it to be. A notary can do it for next to nothing.
  7. Very cute. Not sure if I want to use these yet ... but I had never even thought of it before this forum!
  8. I was a news anchor for 13 years and swear by Studio Fix. If you aren't sure of your color, go to the MAC counter and have them do the makover for you ... (it costs $40 worth of products to have it done , which you will spend in a millisecond). Once you know the right colr for your skin tone (and a bronzer for touch-ups and in case you get some sun on the beach in the days before the wedding) you should be good to go ... and it will mean less touch-ups thriughout the day.
  9. This is ssoo true. I wanted a light, flowing DW dress ... but Mom brought me some of the more traditional ones and I found that the ones I hoped to wear simply didn't look good and the more traditional did. I also found with my skin tome that the same dress in white looked horrible on me, but everything in ivory looked great. So, just be open minded too. You'll be surprised!!
  10. I've spent almost all night downloading songs on these threads and if Tom will go for it I think I will walk down the aisle to that version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow and back together to Some Great Heights. Thanks for the input or I never would have known these songs existed!
  11. Everything is gorgeous!!! Did you pic the flowers or was that part of a regular set-up?
  12. Yeah, I'd say to skip them. Lots of money for something people probably won't really wear anyway.
  13. I don't think it matters one bit. You can both wear what is most comfortable, flattering for you.
  14. oohh!! Thanks for sharing! I'd love to get those and include them in the Newsletter I send out to those who are coming to the wedding a month or so beforehand.
  15. I'm going to try my hand at calligraphy (I've got a few months to practice) but it won't look like the traditional stuff .. more like a modern cursive with a twis, maybe...
  16. Since Tom is in the military ... and we never know if he could get called back up ... we are getting Wedding Insurance, which was recommended by our financial advisor as necessary and worth every penny. I agree. If anything happened, we would be out deposits for the resort, photographer, airfare, etc ... not to mention our guests would be out their deposit money too. With the wedding insurance, our guests deposits are covered too. $450 for $45,000 coverage. Guests can still get travel insurance if they want in case something happens and THEIR plans change. Some recent articles below on Wedding Insurance. It makes sense for us to spend that small amount of extra money to cover ourselves and the guests that are spending their hard-earned money in order to be with us. I've also spoken with our insurance agent. The company doesn't yet offer wedding insurance, but recommended Wedding Cancellation and Liability Insurance online provided by WedSafe and highly recommended that we get it. Anyway, I know I digressed from the Travel Insurance topic, bought thought this might be of help as well. 17. WELCOME! Look forward to hearing more from you.
  18. Yes, love the koozies, espeically since Tom is Army I might steal that idea. Also, where did you get those HUGE starfish for your aisle decor? I'm going to get some parasols and have fallen in love with the starfish theme, so I might copy that too. hehe. Love it all!!!

Yeah, they are sucking us DW'ers dry! Probably should have considered another country after realizing all this ... but we already had our heart set.
  20. Oh that is wonderful!!! What a great way to incorporate that shell! After reading your post I just called my Mom (who has my nephews at their beach house for the week) and told her to put the little guys on a mission for 2 shells that we can use (since they are both ring bearers!) Thanks for the great idea!!!
  21. Tom wouldn't know how to cook a noodle to save his life. Before we met, he would eat out for every single meal. He still likes to ... but I LOVE to cook, so I have to BEG him to let me keep him home for dinner at least once a week. Otherwise, we will usually eat out ... but I make sure he pays. lol... So, I make food and bring it in to the office for everyone a lot instead. Helps with job security too that all the managers love my cooking!!!
