  1. I haven't had any problem with my skin since I started wearing MAC (I love Bare Escentals too). I use the Studo Fix, and the Primer underneath ... and I love the Paints as a base color for your eyes (then your eyeshadow doesn't come off all day long). I basically use the whole gamut ... minus mascara and eye liner ... I use less expensive versions of those because they work just as well for me. Oh, and blush ... Peaches matches every skin tone!!

It's hard to think that ... but ... it's the only thing that keeps me going through the day.
  3. You are ssoo lucky!! I took mine off at the tanning bed to put on my lotion. I was running behind and left without my lotion or the ring ... but went right back in minutes later to get it --my heart fell to the floor when I realized I had left it behind. They had my lotion ... but said there was no ring. I've filed a police report, checked pawn shops and put up cash reward signs ... but to no avail. FI is in Iraq so I can't get the paperwork for it -- just the receipt from the jeweler. SO, I had to buy a look-alike until he gets home and we can file the claim. But nothing will ever replace it -- I told him I just want a wedding band now, and will wear the look-alike knock-off until our wedding day so I at least look/feel engaged. I'm sssooo glad you found yours before it was too late!!!

If you have any BM I used there bouquets and mine for the flowers in the middle of the frames. I hope that helps some. Oh, that's nice! How did you manage to get all the couples pics? I think it would be like pulling teeth for me... If I can swing it, I'll do it though because it looks great!!!
  5. Is anyone NOT doing place cards? I was just going to let people dit where they want to, since by then it should be a pretty good mingle-fest with everyone getting to know each other. or do you think it's better to have assigned seats/tables?
  6. Keep those ideas coming, ladies! I'm having to pack all my stuff and will have to have family or BM's set it all up, so small, inexpensive and classy is what I'm looking for. But I think there will definitely be starfish. Maybe just a single starfish and single candle per table.

My mom is freaking out and I must admit I am a bit nervous as well! Oh well, as long as I'm invited! How fun! I say enjoy it. It will be so great if it is a special surprise to you! And if it gets the guys to do SOMETHING as far as planning all of this ... then more power to you!!!

I'll get those on my PC and check again. Sounds like the invite is just as cool as the RSVP card!
  9. Loving all these coral color dresses that have been posted lately! Great color and great styles on them all!
  10. gotcha. mybad. I only did atilla.com I just checked it out. Cool!
  11. I'm carrot cake. 8. CARROT CAKE -- You are a very fun loving person, who likes to laugh. You are fun to be with. People like to hang out with you. You are a very warm hearted person and a little quirky at times. You have many loyal friends.
  12. Welcome! Tried your website but it says under construction. Let us know when it's ready! I'm sure you'll get lots of hits so we can check it out.
  13. Oh, I gotcha! Usually the best man will get things started with a speech, etc ... but normally the DJ sort serves as MC at weddings I've been to. But, we can certainly do it however we want, right? THat's what we're all learning on here!! So, it might just by Tom's BM and his brother kind pic up the mic whenever necessary and stir things up. :-)
  14. LOVE the RSVP postcards. The wedding invite appeared on 2 pages when I opened it. Maybe you are using a font I don't have ... because it didn't look right. I have the Scriptina, so that showed up ... but what's the other font you used so I can download it and then view again!

I'm wondering if I just gave all of them to the front desk, if they could hand them out when guests check in? You will probably be in luck. Our resort charges $4 a bag for resort delivery ... and I was going to do that ... but I've heard too many horror stories of the bags never arriving -- or arriving a lot lighter than they should be once they are handed off in the DR, so we aren't going to do it that way, although it would be easier. Having them at a table with labeled name tags at the welcome receptions I think will be easier for us, and let us keep an eye on them.

Otherwise maybe your WC can do it for the ceremony. Not sure how long she's around during the reception, but that's a good time to assign it to a guest. I wish! We have to pay $200 for a DJ/MC ... that's why I'm hopinh I can find some cool vacationer there to help us out for some cash. And if I get anyone from the resort, I have to make sure they speak well enough English ... which sounds like from prior reviews will be a bit of a problem in the DR. I guess we will just play it by ear...
  17. We are taking everything down with us and we are arriving a day before everyone else, so Tom and I will assemble them once we are there. People are coming in on different nights, so we are having a welcome cocktail reception each evening and I will have a table set up with the bags of the people arriving that night on them. One bag per couple with a travel mug for each person in the party ... and a separate "kiddie bag" for any youngsters.
  18. Yeah, I would hate to have to ask a guest ... but also thought about seeing what kind of friends we make while we are there and perhaps asking if someone staying/working at the resort would do it for some cash. I just know Tom and I ... and mostly everyone else, will be too smashed to do it. hehe
  19. What a GREAT picture! Even cooler because the colors are so vibrant! I LOVE it!!!

I too have it set up to not share files from my computer.. too scary! I will definitely look in to that! No instructions came with my iPod, so I am flying by the seat of my pants. lol. Getting it that tech-savvy area a bit late, I must say, but trying to make up for lost time now!! Thanks for the input!@!
  21. There definitely a lot to see ... but from what I've had time to browse ... I love!! Great pics!!
