Good luck! Fabulous! I've finally gotten the hang of it! Thanks for the help!
  2. Great idea! We have one nearby and I always forget that they have ssoo much to choose from -- and great prices! I think that's where I'll get my candles, etc. The small stuff - it's cheaper there than at a Dollar Store most of the time!

I think this will work nicely if our friend cannot make it. That's good then, as long as you'll be pleased with the outcome. I'm glad you've had a chance to check out their work. Which resort?
  5. YEA for all the photos! They are GREAT Andrea and Erik! WOW! You have got to be ssoo pleased with all of them! FABULOUS-O!
  6. I'm doing a 'test' on mine and wear it for a while ... and probably going to drop by the jewelers to have them check it out. I'll keep you posted!

Also, I'm thinking of a key chain from Coach, they had flip flop ones, but they're not available anymore, so I have to look on ebay. If you have any outlet stores nearby, check there. I was just at the Coach outlet and they have the flip-flop key chains on clearance.

  10. I planned on a veil, but no flower, but I've found a flower I love, so I think I will do both as well. I'm very interested in knowing how the fishing weights work for any of you ladies to keep the veil from blowing!!

Cost US$1,800.00 (Two Photographers) We *might* have a friend who is coming to the wedding do pictures, otherwise, we will go with these guys. I've seen some pics from this group and they have been decent pics. Has the resort sent you any files so you can see the kind of work their photogs do? I would be leery of locking in a resort photographer without knowing what to expect. I know some of the DR resorts have phenomenal photogs ... but others -- not so much. Havn't heard any good things about the one offered ay my wedding resort ... so that's why we decided to invest in hiring our own.
  12. Yeah, I'll give that a try. I actually wore it last night (lol) but I'll put it to more use and see what happens...

Not trying to spoil your excitement, Tami, and I hope you have much better luck than I did hhhmmm... thanks for the heads up! I don't want to give it as a BM gift and have it turn out to not be the real thing. I figured it might be too good to be true. This one has the T&Co labeling on the back ... but I guess it could be a knock-off anyway...

  15. I can only imagine your stress level. I am sure I will be the same way, but I am so glad it all went off without a hitch in the end! Can't wait to see pics!!!
  16. Ooooo... I love it too!!!! WOW! That is going to look fabulous on you!
  17. Simple and elegant. Great choice!!! Yeah!!! Thanks for sharing!

Oops ... sorry, they just changed the website. Do this ... go to www.thetravelingvineyard.com and click on "Contact Us" ... then click on "Tell me more about hosting a wine tasting" and you'll enter your contact info and a Consultant will contact you. Do it from that website instead of mine, so it's sent to someone close to your zipcode (although I wish I could travel to CA and do it for you! haha).

Thanks! Yep, I started about a year ago doing it PT (actually to help pay for the wedding!). I know there are lots of CA consultants (we just had out annual wine conference in Boston and I met a few of the CA consultants). It's a lot of fun and totally stress free.
  21. I just ordered 2 starfish necklaces with a black cord off eBay. $0.01 each plus $4.98 shipping. P24 925 Sterling Silver Starfish Necklace - (item 320137912120 end time Jul-19-07 20:50:07 PDT) They arrived yesterday. OMG!!! They aren't listed this way on eBay, but they are Tiffany & Co. ... complete with the pouch, box and care card. I had no idea they were going t be Tiffy & Co., so I've gone back online to order more (one for each BM) but the seller is no longer registered on eBay. However, I've found another seller who looks the same, and I've ordered another. Hopefully it will arrive soon and if it is in fact Tiffany again, I'll let you know. Such affordable gifts that yourBM's will think you spent much more on!

They will bring the wine to your house (FREE!) and do the tasting for you (you can pick the kind of wines you like or they can choose some based on your tastes). I did this for a girlfriends bachelorette weekend in the mountains and everyone loved it. They all bought the wines that they liked for themselves and then the bacelorette picked her favorites and everyone bought her at least one bottle too -- to start stocking her wine rack.
