  2. My photog just told me what to do, but it was in a very casual way, so nothng looked really posed or fake to me. I think if you are comfortable with your photog ... they will turn out great regardless. But yes, if you can find some ideas you like, definitely take them with you so she understands what YOUR goal is with the pics and then she can use her professional eye and creativity to make it unbelieveable!

  5. So FUN! I love them! You can tell what a great, fun time you both had!!!!

  7. I just talked to a friend who ordered a BM dress for a wedding earlier this year from House of Brides and she said it was great (and a lot cheaper) but that be sure to order early b/c it takes a LONG time for shipping!
  8. That is SSSSOOOO awesome! Did you just send pics of all the CM stuff you used and they picked you b/c of how well you incorporated everything? That is entirely too cool!!!
  9. Those are some great pics! I love the second one --- the look on your face is priceless!!!

She is an amazing photographer with a degree in photography. Though she hasn't done pro BD pics, she really knows her stuff! If some of you Philly/Jersey/Del girls are interested I can see if she would be willing to do some sessions and get prices for you all! Let me know ladies....." That sounds like the way to go!
  11. I like the 2nd pair of earrings, but I think it might be too much. What about sterling silver studs or simple hoops? I'm dealing with this same dilemma (same necklace) ... but since my BM dresses are halter-style, I may forego them wearing the necklace at the wedding and just give it to thm as a gift and get them some earrings that match the dress for the wedding...
  12. When you ladies get Promo Codes from Pictage ... are they specific to a particular event that you viewed ... or are they good for you to use for any prints?

The tie finished the suit so nicely, I am really glad he wore one. We got married in August and we were not hot, we got married at the perfect time of day and there was a nice breeze on the beach. Here is a picture of E in his suit. Yes that outfit looks perfect -- to a tee!

For those of you who did have a Spanish ceremony, what are your thoughts? And just to clarify: If the ceremony is just a symbolic ceremony, can the whole thing can be in English? Yes, if it's Symbolic, you can do whatever you want. Depending on the resort, you may still have to pay for the non-denominaional minister as part of the Symbolic wedding price, but you don't have to use him. However, I know many of the ladies on here have had the Spanish translation and thought it was a wonderful touch. I'm doing the beginning and end in Spanish w/ a translation and then having family members read our Hand Ceremony, etc. We still want some Spanish to have it appear more authentic since we're not telling everyone that we signed the legal papers in the US before we left.
  15. Yea! How exciting! Can't wait to see all your pics!!! Have a great trip!!!
  16. Why not just let him decide which way he would prefer? I know Tom would always rather NOT wear a tie. :-)

They sell it in the flea markets for pretty cheap. I tried it when I was there, but was with girlfriends so not sure if it works. None of us liked the taste of it, but the idea behind it is great and it is a good souvenir Cool! Good to know! There are a couple recipes on the web that say to add rum, a little wine and honey and to throw out the first batch and then make it again ... that the taste is better if you don't use the first one and add the other stuff to it. Definitely going to buy some to bring home!!!
  18. Ha! Thes days, BDW is both my main hobby AND addiction! lol. I guess my wine business is a hobby as well, b/c I get to drink wine, hehe. Other hobbies: knitting (haven't done it in a while), and going to happy hour. Ew, does that make me a lush (wine AND happy hour!) Oh well, with 4 jobs, there's not much time for hobbies these days!
  19. Definitely some TOUGH choices! Love all three of you ladies!!!!
  20. Ack! Not looking forward to that part of the process. Ugh! Hadn't even thought about credit cards!
  21. Awesome ladies! Wish there were more Paradisus PC forums and such like that!

We've planned 2 AHR's ... one where we live and one where my parents live ... but it turns out almost all of my extended family, who we didn't expect to come to the DW have already booked rooms ... so I think we're going to nix that AHR and only have one here where we live. Casual, on the rooftop deck of Tom's bar/restaurant on a Saturday afternoon.
  23. WOW! Pretty! Very DW! I LOVE the way it flows and looks so cool and comfy! I haven't tried on this style before, though ... so can't offer any feedback other than its beautiful!
