Do you have a wedding website? Our STD was a postcard with the date and location and link to the website, where we keep all the detailed iformation updated. That's the easiest way. Do a search for STD's or Save the Date and see the different threads that have toms of Q&A AND FAQ's about this topic.

I know several ladies on here have asked their guests to wear white/tan/etc. I'd love to do it but don't really think everyone would comply, since we have a big guest list. I think for an intimate wedding it would probably work ... but I'm afraid for one with more guests than we expected, it wouldn't work ... so I'm not going to risk everyone not wearing those colors ... That said ... the wedings that have doneit and worked -- the pics look SSSOOO FABULOUS!!!

And they will personalize it inside for free. Would be a great hand-me-down over the years. One of my BM's is coming over to help assemble our invites this afternoon, and I asked her to bring her camera so we can get a few pics to post for you ladies, but I LOVE IT!!! For $76 on eBay, not only is it a steal, but the bra and underskirt fit perfectly and it needs NO alterations (except to add a bustle). Do you think I need a bustle for the TTD, at least to make walking in it easier? I almost think it looks better on me than my actual dress (but my actual dress needs a few alterations). Hopefully I can post pics tomorrow if she remembers her camera...

I love the parasols that NurseSarah has in her pics. If finances permit, I'm going to get those for myself and my BM's for beach pics.
