I'm following in others footsteps and posting my templates as well. There are 3 attachments because I used different color paper for different things. 80lb cover stock in Textured White for the main invitation sheets (4 pages). 60lb cover stock in Bright Orange for the RSVP postcard page (It has our Return Address printed on the backside -- and I didn't staple this one with the main invitation pages). 80lb cover stock in Bright Blue for the Pocket that everything goes in. Our colors are blue and orange so we're also using bright orange envelopes and our logo sticker for mailing. I'll post actual pics once everything is cut and assembled (that is still a work in progress) but these are our finalized templates that everything was printed from. 180 of them. Ugh. The detailed cutting is taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r... Passport Invites.doc Invite RSVP.doc Invite Pocket A.doc

We'll be at an AI ... but still have to add on fees for the reception. I think it's $2500 for a 3-hour beach reception ... buffett w/ open bar (but we will pay an extra preium for top shelf, which Tom insists on). With an estimated 60 people that's like $40+ per person, and with the premium liquor fee it'll be closer to $60pp ... so I think your fee is right on target.

Poll - Help Me Pick A Purse
foxytv replied to JulieG's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I voted for #4 b/c I think it goes best with your dress. My dress has champagne too but the purse I got isn't the same shade ... so I'd be afraid of trying to match the sash color. -
Last Minute Question - when to go?
foxytv replied to LindsayG's topic in Destination Weddings in Dominican Republic
We're going Wednesday for our Saturday wedding. I think you should go Tuesday. You truly might not meet with Laikin until Thursday, but it will give you time to scout out the resort and see if you find locales for the ceremony or reception that they had not shown you in the pics. I think it will help you get a feel for the resort and for what you want/expect from your wedding. -

I sent my Mom the pics and of course she says "it's much too nice to trash...". No worries for us though! Heck, it will still be wet when we leave for our honeymoon resort the next day, so I might even just leave it behind for the resort to fight over! -
I am using a trio from Mary Kay right now that I LOVE. It's a sheer color that looks fabulous. The liner and lipstick stay on well, and the gloss has a shimmer -- the gloss is the only thing I need to reapply all day. I love it! Lip Liner: Dusty Pink Lipstick: Sheer Blush Lip Gloss: Sugarberry

Glad to have you on the forum! Happy planning! How 'soon' is 'soon' for your big day? :-)

When I found it, I think I bid upto $110, and emaield the seller for shipping costs ahead of time so I didn't get blown away by an outrageous S/H charge. I feel bad for the girl who sold it though b/c it's worth WAY more than I paid! -

Okay ladies ... here are the pics of my TTD dress. :-) -
Because of the lengthy and expensive legal requirments ... we are doing a Symbolic Ceremony in the DR and signing our legal paperwork in the US before we go. It was a tough decision, but it was the best one for us ...

I'm doing mine now ... 180 of them. There are 5 pages total for mine (plus pockets and mailing envelopes). I am using 80lb White Cover Stock for the first 4 pages (main info) and a 60lb Bright Orange Cover Stock for the RSVP postcard (5th page). I am using 80lb Bright Blue Cover Stock for the pockets. And bright orange envelopes to match the RSVP postcards to mail the invites. Our paper we got at an Xpedx store. Less than $40 for all of it, but I think Tom got a good discount). (1 ream/250 sheets each of the white, blue and orange ... and they threw in about 50 extra sheets of the white for free to keep me from having to buy a whole extra ream). One of my BM and I worked on them Saturday night for about 3.5 hours and got a good bit of them cut (straight line cuts only). Yesterday, Tom helped some and another friend came over and in about 2 hours we got all the insert sheets cut. Now, we are doing the corner round cuts and using an Exact-O knife for the detailed part of the Boarding Passes (should take the rest of the week in the evenings to finish). Last is to cut the pockets. Tom's job is to glue the pockets and staple pages 1-4 of the Boarding Passes. I'm using a mail merge program and a Handwritten font for addressing the invites and will print them out instead of hand writing them to save time. I work for a copier/printer, so printing is fast and easy (and free). Postage will be the big cost (180 invites and 180 RSVP postcards, which also take regular rate postage). All in all, I'm 'guestimating' a total of about 20 hours to complete all 180, including assembly. Cost estimate for 180 DIY: Less than $200 [<$40 for paper, $147.60 for postage] Cost estimate for 180 to have somone else print/cut/assemble: $900 plus postage

Beach-Themed Ring Holders

I'm going to order this and check out the quality (even if it's poor quality, I don't mind for the price!). We have 2 ringbearers, so I could afford to get each of them one to carry (as opposed to the others posted, which are awesome, but just too expensive!).
