I know in the DR (where we are getting married) there is only 1 judge and that they are usually late. Not sure how things work in Azul -- but I know for legal weddings in the DR, the WC asks that you be relatively flexible, as they will adjust times accordingly based on the judge's arrival. A lot of times it's out of your control, so just be prepared and go with the flow.

Don't know how often they do it, but they are usually not the greatest of dresses, style-wise. I got my dress during a $99 sale last year -- but it was a $600 dress that I paid $450 for. I didn't even realize the sale was going on when I was looking b/c the $99 dresses were on a different rack altogether. I'd look on eBay as well. that's where I got my TTD dress for $76 and it's AWESOME!!!

Free handwriting fonts. Personal handwriting fonts. Here is a pretty affordable option to avoid writer's cramp if you are doing your own and have a lot to address. FontGod - Handwriting Fonts is just one of the sites that will design a Customized Handwriting Font that looks like either your printed or cursive handwriting. I'm thinking this is awesome not only for wedding invitations, but also for business so you can type out letters in your own handwriting that will still LOOK personalized and hand written. Just thought I would share. I've already done my envelopes using Scriptina for the names and Copperplate Gothic for the street addresses and FI and I think it looks awesome, albeit obviously computer generated. But I love this idea (Mom just told me about it too late).

I'm not going to a resort in your area -- but at my resort in the DR, the pools close at 4pm. They are near the dinner restaurants and I believe that is why, although it sucks.

There are tons of threads about this very topic on here - with a slew of pics. But the easiest thing to do to get ideas is to look at the Galleries of flower pics on this site. You will be truly amazed. lot's of us gals are getting our flowers from her, me included, and the samples she sent are out of this world awesome. But if you want real flowers -- use these pics as a guide and take several pics with you so they can work with your ideas!
