very cute! Seems like $9-$15 is ghe average price for the passport covers (less expensive ones). Anyone found any nice ones cheaper than that? I wanted to get a bunch for guests ... but so far the prices are too high to buy as many as I need.

Can you post the design/template? I've got to get busy with this stuff! Is there a paper cutter that will cut them round at a scrapbook store or craft store?

I think you should expect to pay for his travel and room ... but perhaps he will tell you that it's not necessary ... and cover those costs on his own. I think it's better to be prepared to cover the costs and then be pleasantly surprised if they don't need you to. Have you talked to your FH about his thoughts on it? Since they are close, he might be able to easily approach the pastor about it anyway.

We are close as far as our wedding dates, and I haven't had one yet. Tom's BM and wife asked if they can have a couples shower for us in February. I think Feb or March is when onbe of my girlfriends is planning a girls showe as well.

We are doing the legal paperwork before we leave, because in the DR, it can take MONTHS to get it back ... so we wouldn't even be able to add me to FH insurance during that 30-day window if we did the legal stuff in the DR.

Had a package waiting for me when I got home from work today. I was like .... "hhhmmm .... I don't remember ordering anything from Custom Crystals. Maybe I did and just forgot." (heck who knows anymore, right? I had totally forgotten about getting a SS gift!!! So what a great surprise when I opened it to find a note from LIZZY!!!! and an AWESOME rhinestone BRIDE tank! PERFECT for me to wear in the airport on the way to the DR in April! YEA!!! I don't have a digital camera connector to my computer, so here's the pic of the website (it's the best I can do) ... it's a black tank with fuschia rhinestones. LIZZY, I LOVE it!!!!! My bouquet is all ivory roses with champagne accents. BM bouquets are all bright and tropical. You can totally do whatever you want! I LOVE the BM bouquets I picked, but didn't want too much color to detract from my dress ...

Love this assignment! My folks are in the process of moving and just gave me a huge box of pics frm through the years. There are sme GREAT winter/Christmas pics that I want to scan in and make a siggy out of!!!! Hopefully I'll get it done this week.

LOL. This is too funny. I can't log on at work like I used to, so when I got home this evening, I expected some of you ladies to be dealing with the same problem, but I am cracking up over just how common -- and how aggravating -- it is!!! :-) Tom usually stay on the couch so I can fall asleep first, but sometimes he just falls asleep out there (snoring, of course). One night, I took a NyQuil tablet (end stages of a cold and knowing he would snore) but he came into the bedroom before I was asleep and proceeded to start snoring within, oh, 10 seconds. OMG -- talk about a MEAN women. No sleep from the snoring all night (even when I went into one of the spare bedrooms and closed BOTH doors -- not caring if the cat started scratching at the doors that night) but could STILL hear him and the NyQuil made me like a zombie all night, wanting to sleep but not being able to b/c of the NOISE. Wow, did he not want to talk to me the next day -- I was ssoo sleepy and mean. We'll see how the throat spray works. I think I'm also getting a humidifier (or is it dehumidifer, I need to double check), I was reading online that can help a lot too -- and he says he's stuffy a lot, so maybe that will make a difference.

OMG! It is absolutely unbelievable and I can NOT get a decent nights sleep. Of course it's worse when he drinks, but even during the week when we don't go out, his snoring has gotten ssoo bad that we rarely can sleep in the same room. It's so much worse now that he's back from Iraq -- or I just forgot how bad it was, but I really think it's just gotten so much worse. Nasal strips haven't worked. We're trying the throat spray next. Any other suggestions? He can snore on his back, side and even stomach. ACK! And he won't get tested for sleep apnea 'til he's out of the military, so that's not an option right now. HELP!!!

The same reception offerings are available at any Paradisus resort (just different prices) ...so at PPC we are doing our reception a la carte with a beach reception buffett. The Cool Chic seemed too expensive for what you actually get in our opinion.

We are marrying at Paradisus Punta Cana and honeymooning at the Palma Real. Your guest list expectations and budget are similar to our ... and that being said Palma Real will most likely be out of your budget. That's why we decided to honeymoon there instead. We have close to 50 adults confirmed thus far and 2 kids (expecting 55-60 adults and 6 kids total). We are very happy with choosing PPC and have had good luck with our wedding coordinator there as well.

Oh I hope my SS recipient isn't blue ... my gift hasn't been sent yet, but it will be soon!
