You don't need to bring your own speakers. We used the speakers at the resort and it was all just fine. Just FYI in case you'd rather not lug that stuff with you. Although there should be no issues with customs.

No, you would be fine. It is far enough away, and the Lobby Bar entertainment (music) doesn't start til later in the evening.

Lisa - The Conventions Terrace is at the front of the resort. It is as far away from the beach and everything else as it can be. It is only close to the Lobby Bar, which is awesome and so much fun we went there every night. But the Conventions Terrace will NOT give you a "beachy" feel for your reception if that is what you are looking for. It will be more of a "garden" type atmosphere. If you want it to seem beachy, I would look at one of the restaurants, or an actual beach reception, which we had and loved. The Terrace is beautiful, so it may be exactly what you are looking for, but like I said it is as far away from the beach as you can get - literally a tram ride away....

7, 8, 22 and 26 are my faves, but I love them all. You guys are a PERFECT looking couple together and she did a GREAT job with the pics!!!

CHI or BabyLiss. I love CHI but currently have a BabyLiss that I got a few years ago on eBay that works great as well. Both of those brands are recommended by my hair stylist.

Oh they are great pics! Your ceremony looks beautiful. Is that at the Garden Terrace off the lobby? And I LOVE the pics near that single palm tree. Everything was beautiful! I love seeing pics from other PPC weddings!!!

I'll see if I can post some of my HM pics at PPR - we have several of the Gabi Terrace. Very pretty location! Also, I was married at PPC and our photogs stayed at a neighboring resort and actually just walked up the beach and into our resort with no problems, so were able to shoot w/o even paying the day pass fee. Also, if you already have email confirmation from Viviana, don't keep asking. Just take that email with you and stand firm since you have it in writing already. You don't want them to change their mind, lol.

Personally I LOVE coral with champagne - or a chocolate brown.

No site visit for us - just wasn't in the cards. It was fun to be there for the first time for our DW. I did a TON of research ahead of time though, and it paid off tenfold.

Let this be a lesson to you, and others, to get IN WRITING what the expectations are. Otherwise, you don't have a leg to stand on. I understand that you are frustrated b/c you are excited to get your book and hoped to have it for your FI by now ... but you also didn't do your due diligence in the beginning. And since it was free, I think you especially need to chill. Enough time hasn't passed for you to be freaking out.

That's too bad those alternate dates won't work for you. Hopefully PPC works out. I had a magnificent wedding at PPC!
