  1. We shall see. They have emailed me back and asked me to send pics of the issue. I have -- so am awaiting their response. Luckily, I have copies of all the email exchanges.
  2. Beautiful. I wouldn't be able to justify the cost -- but I'm glad you were able to !!! My wedding is ivory with pearls, so depending on the size of the flower (I'll wait for pics) your selling price after the wedding might be doable for me. But, my veil is on the way so we'll see how that looks first! ;-) CONGRATS!!!
  3. This is the Dessy Collection -- no idea about the prices -- but it would allow everyone to pick their own dress and you pick the color. Lots of shades that would complement magenta. Or you could do the same dress in different shades or the magenta theme. Bridesmaid Dresses: The Dessy Group

  5. Alfred Angelo Bridesmaids Dresses and Bridesmaid Gowns - These are all Alfred Angelo dresses, but they are available in Magenta. Definitely not $62, though... I'll keep plugging away!
  6. Who is the designer, b/c every brand is going to have a different hue of "magenta." But I'm happy to take the challenge!!!
  7. Our colors are aqua and coral ... but they are more accent colors. Our BM dresses are champagne. No pics to show b/c no wedding for another 3 months. lol.

I did a little bit of research and from what I've read it seems you have to go to a dermatologist to receive treatment. Is that correct? I looked in to the Obagi as well ... but just don't see how I can afford going to a specialist to get a prescription for it b/c I am sure it is expensive, or at least relatively so. The Yonka -- I couldn't find where to purchase -- I guess perhaps that is another to get from the doctor or an aesthician (sp?).
  9. We bought their GM shirts and also the Reef Dram flip-flops (with the flask in the heel) and we will get a bottle of Dominican Rum for each GM.
  10. Hhhmmm.... Great thread! I just started using Revitalash to thicken my eyelashes for the wedding. It's supposed to take about 2 months so we'll see how it works (my hair stylist recommended I try ti as opposed to the extensions). if it doesn't work I might try Tammy (host's) Jan Marini Eyelash Thickener. MAC or Bare Minerals foundation. Whitening Trays from the dentist. My teeth have always been white (despite not having qut smoking yet) and the whitening trays just give them that extra sparkle. I love it!). That's all for now -- wish I did more...
  11. It's a tough thing to find out the people you want to share in your special day won't be able to make it. But, FH and I made a pact when we decided on a DW that we would be understanding and not get upset with ANYONE who couldn't make it -- from the outset or last minute. I still have a feeling that we will have some guests back out last minute b/c airfare prices are so high and they didn't secure them when rates were lower -- but I will have to deal with that. Final payments for our group are due next week and only about 4 people are Paid In Full. The only thing I can tell you as a little piece of advice is to remember that at the end of the day, it's YOUR day and your FH day ... and that is what matters ... b/c truly, some of the people who DO make it you might not even be in touch with years down the road ... adn some who can't make it you will remain close with -- and that's the test of true friendship.
  12. I have copies of all my "Ticket" requests ... inquiring about the proof and on 1/2/2008 I received a response that they were still working on the artwork and had to make the date larger. The UPS tracking shows they were mailed on 1/3/2008. hhmmm... Anyway, I just sent them copies of everything they request if you are unsatisfied, so hopefully we can get this resolved.

When you place your order, you check the box for the artwork proof if I remember correctly. They won't send a proof unless you order. (or in my case they didn't send it even with my order). I paid $261 for these and I do think I deserve a proof. Especially since I have been in contact with them.

  15. Girl, don't even worry b/c we ALL have had issues with these dress sizes. It's ridiculous. Just know that we are ALL having to try on dresses in sizes that are much bigger than we would usually wear! I bought my dress a year ago --and now I'm just over 3 months out and am just getting into the gym. Ugh! First fitting is the first week in February!

If we do flowers, I don't want all the pointy greenery. Ick. Tulle would be great but I know I would have to bring it with me. That's fine b/c it will be cheaper than their flower decorations. I saw some of the handmade gazebos in another thread, but I need to see those same ideas on a traditional gazebo in order to picture it. I'm looking for pics too. Thanks!
  17. Cute! I just got all of that from Oriental Trading last week -- but I am sure you will sell it!
  18. Here are some other pics of the gazebo that she sent a few weeks ago, which are better -- but still not what I am envisioning.
  19. Please share your pics of wedding gazebos with decorations. Our WC just sent me this pics of the gazebo decorations. Yuck -- I don't like it. It's too much for my taste. I'd like to send her some pics of something more close to what I envision.

  22. What's your budget look like? For the wedding, we are being upgraded free to a Royal Service Suite. For the honeymoon, we got the lowest priced Royal Service and hope to be upgraded. But I have heard from far too many people that you are hardly ever in your room except to shower, sleep and well, *you know* ... so although I love your Jaccuzi Suite option -- do you REALLY think you will use it? I doubt it. Save the money or put the money towards something else. You will not remember the room -- you will remember the experience.
  23. Well, I just bought the OOT bags. I got 3 dozen for about $30. Travel mugs will go in them (about $2.50 each). Also lots of trial size/sample pain medications and bug spray, sunblock and aloe, etc. We are making homemade starfish soaps. Flip flop playing cards. Tropical design purse size tissues. Some other random stuff. I would say they are $25 dollars each -- tops. We are doing one per couple andputting two mugs in each. We do havea few sinlges so they will each get the same but of course with only one mug.
  24. Oh yeah -- I love Sally Beauty. I get the half wigs and extensions from there and love to have fun with it!
