  1. Thank you for removing your siggy... Regarding the friends profile thing, you can view it on your friends perhaps because they haven't changed the privacy settings. Like you changed it so when someone finds you, they can't view your friends list, but other people probably have not made that same change.
  2. Jeez, I have so many emails that I can't keep up with them... 1 hotmail from when I was a teenager, it's mostly junk now 1 hotmail with my new name 1 yahoo with my old name 1 yahoo with my new name 1 gmail (since yesterday!) with my new name 1 hotmail that I created for wedding stuff only 1 work account - I use this for mostly everything And that's all I can remember for now!
  3. Hmmmm, that's an interesting question. I have my settings private, but never considered hiding my friends list from my other friends. I guess I didn't really see a reason for it, but I see your master googling skills found the answer! Good to know.
  4. Check out this thread from last week - What are your Valentine plans? I know it's not exactly what you were looking for, but kinda similar. Might give you some ideas. I will merge these threads in a few minutes after giving you time to see this response...
  5. It looks great! I love it and it fits you perfectly, stylewise and the way it fits!
  6. I was going to say hotmail, since that is what I have, until I read Casey's response and now I want gmail too! I love the idea of color coding it and stuff like that. I am anal about my email and hardly ever delete anything, cuz you enver know when you'll need it!
  7. There were getting to be a lot of "sticky" threads on this subfolder, so I created this thread to combine all of them. Please remember: - reply in this thread with links to any other threads that you think are helpful, but only from within THIS subforum - use the thread in my (or any Mod's) signature to learn how to post photos instead of links or attachments - if you use a photo hosting site to post your photos, the photos disappear if you delete or move your photos Etiquette, Traditions, to dos **Quick Links to helpful threads** __________________ 10 Things Every DW Bride Should Know From the Get Go Post Your Wedding Date Post all your carry-on questions here * Carry-on wedding dress/luggage Post all "Knock Off Wedding Dress" questions/comments here Post Groom and GM attire Post Your Mom's Dress! 8. Congrats ladies! And of COURSE you deserve it Abs, we wuuuuuuv you!
  9. If you google starfish bouquet jewel, you can find them for fairly cheap. Or use the search function on here, there are so many people that found good prices on them. I think the place I got mine was called "Simply Flowers" or "Fresno Flowers" or something like that, and it was $15 with free shipping.
  10. It's very similar to the dress that Glenda (nrvsbride) wore for her wedding in June. It's beautiful!
  11. Definately the blue. I wouldn't have thought to use the word generic, but that is exactly what I thought when I opened the red one.
  12. If you use the search function in the upper right hand corner of the screen, you will find sooooo many passport templates. The only name I can think of that posted one is becks, but I know more did... I did the boarding pass style and I had a printer, print, cup, crop, staple and perforate. It was under $100 and I had over 150 invitations and each invite had 6 "tickets".
  13. Good work, Stephanie! You are so right, we really do need photos! Everything looks beautifuL!
  14. I was going to say exactly what Abbie said about. What was the point then for 6 days? But the most important thing I wanted to say was THANK GOODNESS! So happy for you and hubbie!
  15. Glad to hear everything worked out for you! Check out the link in my siggy for tips on how to add photos and other helpful links for maneuvering around the forum... I also had the opportunity to meet the minister who will be performing our ceremony! We finally got prices for the cocktail hour and private reception (6 months later ...) and I was able to select the locations for each while touring the property with the wedding coordinator. As far as the resort is concerned, the property is relatively small but nicely maintained. They claim to have spent billions in renovations although I can't say I noticed all the differences. The rooms were clean, bathrooms had been updated and the furnishings were basic. There are 3 pools, 4 bars (including a swim up bar) and 4 options for dinner (although they are open on a rotational basis ... not all are open daily). There is a full time entertainment staff which coordinates daily beach volleyball and other various games. Additionally, they provide nightly entertainment from talent shows to toga parties. I took about 40 photos on the property but I'm not sure how to add them to the forum - still a newbie ; ) but I'd be happy to email them if anyone is interested. Thanks all!
  16. Jeez, that is poor customer service! What is with that lately?! Plenty of other dog groomers around for ya!
  17. Hahahaa, Jac, you won't beleive what I was just about to do... I saw the title, but didn't notice you posted it and was going to say that "My friend Jackee mentioned "Denim" to me the other day, but I can't personally say since I haven't been out in the city in years!" hahahahaa, then I saw it was you.
  18. I got married in May of last year and had started WW in February/March. I didn't really focus too hard on it and I easily dropped 10 lbs within that timeframe. If you can make yourself commit to it, you CAN do it. I know, I know, it's the committing that's the hard part. We will be your cheerleaders!
  19. Oh, that sounds nice! I could use a little pampering I actually only found your thread cuz I searched for "valentine". I am at a loss this year as to what to do for Matt. I usually buy him something practical and something fun, each time i buy him something. Usually, the something "fun" has something to do with sex. I just feel that is getting old and I should try something different. But I have no idea what! I've already done the "go away for a weekend", "go to a super nice restaurant", "buy sexy lingerie", etc. route. Got any ideas He's not really materialistic. Kinda the anti-materialistic. He thinks everything is a waste of money. Unless it has to do with his car, of course. Anyway, I am at a total loss. It's our first Valentine's married and I have no clue how to make it special!
  20. Already fixed it, Ab, I hadn't read all the way to the bottom to your posting....
  21. Check out the link on my siggy for help on how to do things in the forum (It's a thread with shortcuts to all the helpful links, one of which is how to upload photos). I was going to say exactly what MarieSam said, we are our own worst critics. Show us what they look like and perhaps we can offer some suggestions. Otherwise, you might even take them to a local florist and ask them to make an arrangement out of the flowers that you have already (unless it's the flowers that you hate, then I would call one of the companies suggested above). Good luck!
  22. I added the photo - check out the link in my siggy for help on adding photos.
