  1. Damn, Kristy, you fooled me. I thought there was a new story!
  2. OMG, I love the 2nd dress. Like love, love, love! What is the designer and how much was it? If that's not too nosy. I want ittttttttt!
  3. Maya - check out the link in my (or any other mod) for helpful threads about the forum. One that stands out that you could benefit from is the "Abbreviations" thread. kwim, means know what i mean
  4. Honestly, I don't even remember. Probably a swim coverup since we were at the beach all day before the wedding. I know that towards the end of getting my hair and makeup done, I just had a silk robe on, but I was on my room with friends doing my hair and makeup.
  5. Ohhh, Shell, I am loving that dress!!! It's pretty enough to be THE wedding dress! Good choices, your time is coming up so soon!
  6. Perhaps it's the fact that I am a natural blonde and can't be a brunette. My hair doesn't hold the color. But I love brown hair, especially dark brown hair. So I choose the brunette. However, I think you should choose something that makes you feel most like YOU. Perhaps evena compromise of highlights? Although I still think that dark brown is the best!
  7. I have always heard that your body is highly susceptible to pregnancy right after you stop taking BC. So I think that if you started back up, it would help your period get under control, and then when you stop next year, you have a good chance of getting prego immediately.
  8. My husband's ring is Tungsten Carbon Fiber. I didn't care what ring he got, since he's the one wearing it. And I think that matching rings to each other stopped happening a long time ago. I think if it's what he likes, then let him get it. He's the one that has to wear it everyday and don't you want him happily wearing it? Plus like someone else said, men's rings are so inexpensive, you can always buy both. Maybe the gold he could wear as a nicer ring when he gets dressed up and the tungsten could be daily wear or something. I think sometimes, as brides we get so caught up in every detail that we forget that there is also a groom. And he should be able to have some say in the ring that he gets to wear. This is the one my husband has and he gets compliments like crazy on it.
  9. MAN! I wish I wasn't married yet! I would've totally taken you guys up on this. Well, glad I am married, but wish you were doing this last year! Good luck to the brides that enter!!
  10. Awwww, Jenny you look beautiful! Jean-Marcus, thanks so much for getting us some teasers! I loved your bouquet!!
  11. I think they look nice as well. And you are totally stressing the details, but you know what? We do do, it's our wedding and it's ok that you want it to be perfect! The thing is knowing when to let a detail slide. I think they look great. The printing does look a little small, but I don't think it looks bad at all. If they are already printed, I wouldn't bother reprinting them. I love he design, the colors are great together, I think you did a great job!
  12. Hmmm. I didn't vote, cuz I can't really pick. We were in JA for 9 nights, and our family/friends was there for 4 nights, except for one couple there an extra night. I honestly wouldn't change a thing. I am so glad that our families were able to be there with us in the beginning, but I am so glad that Matt and I had time alone at the end.
  13. Oh, I love that hairstyle! And I am in a wedding in September and was trying to figure out how to wear my hair, let the bangs grow in or what. So I totally saved this pic!
  14. Adrianna Pappel was the designer or my bm dresses and I love them! So I can say they are quality...
  15. I picked #4, but I really list them. Can't your hairstylist test a couple
  16. I can't see the picture, check out the link in my siggy for help on posting pictures (it's a shortcut thread to all kinds of helpful threads)
  17. Any department store would probably carry them, especially around prom season. But I would check more evening gown boutique's. I went to a store in my and tried on quite a few evening gowns in white or variations of white and they were all about $200-300 and they were really nice.
  18. I don't think I have in the past, I was like 18 and 20 when I got my tattoos, but I probably would tip now...
  19. Only a mod has access to delete a posting. Also, you can only edit a post for an hour and then after that, a mod would have to do any editing for you. So, nope, you weren't missing anything!
  20. Have you tried taking a peak at what others have created? There are SO many samples out there to check out. search for "the boarding pass thread", it has every boarding pass that has been posted to the forum. And please, use the search function, this is the 2nd or 3rd thread that I saw from you today that has already been highly discussed. Once you search and have specific questions, feel free to post away! We are all very happy to help anyone who is putting out any effort. Happy planning! I am closing this thread.
  21. I was going to suggest what Katrina said. This subject has been talked about so often, please use the search function before starting a new thread. I am closing this thread.
  22. Hmmmm, for $10 a bottle and no calories, as long as I can get past the first glass I am sure it is fine! I am not a profressional or anything, every glass is better then the one before it, so as long as you can get thru one, this sounds like a MUST TRY. Thanks for posting! Darn it! They don't ship to PA or any of the surrounding states. Trying to keep us winos chunky I guess. (And by "US WINOS", I only meant MEEEEE! Cuz I love me some wine!)
