That is incredible news! Congrats on the weight loss! However, I have to say unless your pics are really outdate, 100 would be WAY too much weight to lose! I know we always waant to lose more then other think, but I think you are gorgeous. Either way, I think a positive attitude is a HUGE plus when trying to get a healthier outlook on life.

Hello ladies, I was hoping that you all could help me make it easier for new brides to find important threads. We have a sticky thread created for all major resorts in JA to track everyones dates. If you happen to notice that there is not a thread for your resort, let me know and I can create one. Also, I added a little blurb in the 1st post of each date thread about how I would like to have links to threads that you think are important for other brides to see. For instance, in the Beaches Boscobel thread, I put the link to the thread that contained all the info from when I was planning my wedding since I was the 1st Beaches Boscobel bride. I would like to do this for all the main resorts, but will need you help identifying the important threads. Please post here with the threads that you think are important for your resort and why you think that. I will keep that original posting updated as much as I can. Thanks!!

Wow. The details are horrendous. That is such a sucky situation for all involved and I wish she hadn't forgiven him so easily. Also, as an FYI, there were some comments made by a previous poster about her own experience in a physically abusive relationship. At her request, I removed those comments. So for anyone that saw them before, it would be great if they weren't referenced again so her story isn't out there for the world to see.

I would contact your credit card company. They should have a record of the transaction and might be able to go after the company. However, I think there is a time limit that they can do that, so it might have passed. But I would start there and they might be able to offer suggestions on your next steps. Also, I would email Fortunoff and see what they say. Did you ever get a notice that they were on back order?

Have you tried doing some searches on the forum? So many brides post some photos from their bd sessions that I am sure you could find lots of ideas.

Hmmmm, my husband doesnt' have any children. But the guy I dated from like 19-23 had a daughter when I met him. She just about a year old when we met and probably like 5-6 when we broke up. Maybe it was b/c I was young, maybe it was b/c daughter and mother lived in NY (where ex was from), maybe it was b/c the mother was a one night stand and not an ex-girlfriend - but I was never resentful. I know that relationship was completely different then being in your late 20's-early 30's in a more committed relationship. And I know my situation was different since they lived so far away from each other, he wasn't a very involved father, timewise. (I am only responding b/c it's almost the norm these days to have one or the other spouse already having a child.) So I can see how you would resent the child from taking away from your "us" time. Shiiiiiit, I sometimes resent EVERYONE that gets in my way of our special time. I think we all have those feelings at some time or other. The important thing is that he is a good father and you are a good step-mom-to-be. Lucky for you, there are lots of wonderfully caring women on this site that are in your same situation that you can relate.

I think either black or grey is fine. He should dress around your mom's dress. Isn't that the way it usually is? But I am not about it being all matchy matchy. But he hsould definately compliment (if not match) your mom. You could probably even have him get a grey tux, but a different one, so that he matches, but doesnt' blend. I am anti-black clothing, so I think grey is better. Plus, I saw your mom's dress and I think it would look really nice witha dark grey tux on Chuck.
