  1. Yum, I love your cake! Keep'em coming!
  2. Congrats! You looked beautiful! And how cute are your flowergirls. Love their dresses as well.
  3. Thanks, Cara. I got the maracas from Oriental Trading (Maracas) along with most of the other stuff. The pashmina's were purchased somewhere else, but I forget the name of the place. 4. I have no doubt that it could be the side effects of switching pills, but if you are freaking out, I would def take a test. I have only freaked myself out enough like 2-3 times in my life to take a pill, but it's always a HUGE relief when it's negative.
  5. Ok, so I was going to specify which ones I liked best, but ummmmm they are all gorgeous! I love etsy, there are SO many great artists on there! Great find.
  6. Check out this thread, it has links to all the important attire threads - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t33890
  7. Erin, thanks for your compliments! I have NO idea what the type of fabric was actually. I just went to Joann's and searched until I found the perfect pattern and matching colors. The pink and white hibiscus had a bit of stretch to it; the orange, pink and blue pattern was linen-y, but I don't think it was linen; and the linings were just cotton in the colors that matched. I don't think it matters much since it's just a bag. Since that was my first real sewing project, it probably cost more (in time and materials) to make them myself then it would be to buy them. I enjoyed the project, but it was very time-consuming. But if you are an experienced sewer, you will probably have an eaiser time them me. My sister is a little more advanced at sewing them me, but still new to it and we didn't have a pattern, so there was a lot of trial and error. When they were complete, I had wished I made them larger so they could function as beach bags. Ya know, with room for a towel and to put your coverup in when you take it off and stuff like that. But my sis and lots of other people just used them as bigger purses, like a catchall. So, I guess it's just a matter of preference on what you want. I will say that I was very proud once the project was complete, and felt that the hardship was worth it. So if you have the time and energy, go for it!
  8. Def will be joiniing your fan page, going to do that now. Good luck with it Christine!!
  9. Don't give up yet, Catherine. It's huge that you are willing to take this step towards a healthy-mindset, so please don't give up at the first speed bump. I would call your regular doctor to see if they can refer you to someone. Or I know previously, I requested a referral from my gyno. Someone who knows you, might be able to refer a good match to your personality and they will also know which doctors take your INS.
  10. Well, that's mostly good news, Jac. Hopefully this antibiotic works for poor Mama Moff.
  11. I haven't been to a therapist in a few years, but the point isn't for you to go to them and them tell you what to do. In fact, I bet they aren't ALLOWED to come right out and tell you what to do. It's a place to talk about your life and your desicions, a place of reflection. Sometimes, just verbally saying out loud what you keep inside, gives you some insight on how to handle a situation. I think you should swallow your pride and call a therapist immediately. If one on one is too much for you, you should look into group counseling. On a personal note, I also think that you should move on from your relationship with Lawrence. I've been on the board for a loooong time now and it seems that he is nothing but demanding of you and always giving you rules and stipulations on when he will marry you. I think going to a therapist would probably make you see that you deserve a better relationship then that. I am so sorry for the losses that you have experiences in your lifetime, but it's time to live YOUR life. You have a beautiful son that needs you to be healthy.
  12. Christine, how would the gift cert's work? Like I would pay you for a book, but the person I give the gift cert to would send you the photos they want in the book? Do they also provide the wording, or do you make up the stories? I know I've said it before, but I love this idea and am sad that my niece and nephew are too old for it. Hmmm, that brings up another question - what is the age that kids would use board books? I don't have kids, so I am not really sure. Is it like 0-3 years or something?
  13. Wow, Jac, so scary. And I remember that happening with Jeff, it's actually the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. I hope Ter's appt goes ok at 11am! Keep us updated. And how cute is she that she's worried about looking good for your wedding.
  14. Wow, you looked great and barely pregnant in some of the pictues. I realllllly loved your 2ns dress! So gorgeous. And I also loved your escort down the aisle, cutie pie.
  15. So cute! I want to make a nightgown like that. What kind of fabric is the dress? I made tank tops for my fg's and they were ribbed which didn't work that well, so wondering how yours is holding up...
  16. Holy shilz. 2 months. Are you feeling good abou it? Need any help with anything? Let me know!!
  17. Wow, I am so sorry. And honestly, you are allowed to feel bad emotionally! It's a sucky situation, no matter how well you prepared for it, it's still hard. So you have to let yourself go thru those feelings. Let it all out here, that's what we are here for. {Virtual hugs to you}
  18. Click on the search button, and choose "advanced search"; click on that. Then towards the upper right part is a space that says "posts made by", change that to "threads started by" and enter your name. It will give you all the threads that you have started. Hope that makes sense!
  19. Tammy, I just double checked on him, and he was a random spammer. Alyssa warned him and then he spammed like 4 more times, so he was banned. So whatever. Vendors get angry for stupid reasons sometimes. I just hate how they always turn it into a personal attack on you, and then also on the site. Like, really, a useless site? For real, dog? Is that why you were trying to be a member?
