  1. Have you tried searching? There is so much information previously posted you should be able to find everything that you need. If you can't find specifics, feel free to post inquiring about specific things, but since this has all been discussed previously, the search function is your friend!
  2. Erin, I completely agree on the kids thing! EVERYONE asks!!!!
  3. Hmmm, most of my time is consumed by my need for a house. Married life is great though. I love the stability it offers. I no longer have doubts about our relationship (not that I really ever did, but I just FEEL more secure.) I wish the sex could go back to being like it was when we first met, but that's all my fault. Issues with my body means I am less comfortable getting freaky in crazy places. I don't miss planning the wedding. I didn't hate it, I enjoyed it most of the time, but I am over it. I have more patience with my friends who are getting married though, since I am so fresh with it myself. The only thing I miss was my free-for-all purchases that I was allowed to make before. Man, I was a shopping fool.
  4. Man, everytime someone replies I think there might've been an update. Where are you Katy? We are concerned... Hope all is well!
  5. Man, I am a master-forgetter. Did you happen to contact the rental place? If they aren't in your car, and they aren't in your house, odds are that you could've left them in the place or in the parking lot or something.
  6. There are a few ways to PM. I'll give the 2 that I can think of now. 1. In the upper right hand corner of the screen, where it says "welcome, butterfly369", under that it says "private message". You can click on that and then choose "send a private message" in the choices down the left side of the screen. 2. Or, if you are viewing the person that you want to PM, you can click on their name in any thread and a choice will pop up to "send a private message to this person". Easy as pie. Post again, if you need more help!
  7. Ok, maybe this is weird, but how come all the replies about their experience with [photog name removed] talk about a "gift from God"; "it was a blessing"; "a god send". Ok, maybe not all of them, but quite a few stood out. I know she is religious and I have nothing against that, I am "religious" in my own way, but it seems a little planted or something. Anyway, [photog name removed], it has been clearly established that you have an exceptional talent and it should not be wasted. Please take this constructive criticism and move on with your work! I support the brides that have negative reviews, b/c I don't beleive that a hired vendor should add stress to any brides wedding planning/day; however, I remember your work and I think you have so much to offer. Please take the good with the bad, and learn to keep your professional life separate then your personal and you will have a flourishing career.
  8. Oh, and Beaches also provided us with champagne flutes so there might not be a need to purchase those. Double-check with your resort.
  9. I was wondering who that could be as well... And missdanelle - it's no big deal really, I just wanted you to know why I edited it out of your posting...
  10. I edited her initials out of your post misdanelle. Just wanted you to know... I spent so much time today removing all reference to her name or initials, that I didn't want this one to slip thru the cracks.
  11. My husband's cousin bought us a really nice cake cutter set for our shower and his aunt bought us one when we got engaged. So we used his cousins in JA, since she came there, and his aunt's at the AHR. So it worked out well for us. If it hadn't been purchased as a gift, I probably would've bought my own cuz I had a hard time not buying anything. But do I think it was necessary? Not at all.
  12. Beautiful! I think that this forum keeps MS in business, there are so many brides that buy her dresses!
  13. Hey Catherine, just wondering if you were able to find a local therapist that takes your insurance. Let us know how you are doing. Hope today is a good day!
  14. I have to confess that whenever I wear those special-suck-it-in-underwear, I always remove them before the night is over. Usually after a few drinks when I don't care that I might be a little lumpy, I take them off in the bathroom. Luckily, I didn't wear them for my wedding so at least I only act trashy at other peoples wedding! hahahaaaaa
  15. Love the earrings! (Man, I miss doing all my wedding shopping!)
  16. Wow, Heather, what an ordeal. I agree that [photographer name removed] takes beautiful photos, but I also agree that you don't need a high maintence photog. You did the right thing, for your sanity and everything seems to be working out! And that was super generous of Morgan!
