That's great! Congrats on taking a step in the right direction! On the rings - I can't say for sure one way or the other without seeing pics. But I like big stones, so I would pick 2.5 carats over 1 anyday. But that's without seeing the rings in their settings or knowing the quality. Cuz a 1 carat clear is better then a 2.5 carat crappy. Kwim? Follow your heart!

Hmmm, I see I am in the minority here, but I chose #1. I don't know why, but I wasn't crazy about the back of #2 even though they are almost the same. I think ti's the piece that hangs. Not crazy about it.

Ok, the wedding was perfect! We were supposed to get thunderstorms all day, but she got super lucky with the weather. It wasn't too hot and it didn't rain! She, of course, looked absolutely gorgeous. Like a princess bride. And Joe was really handsome. All the details were amazing! Matt is an amatuer photog, so he took like 300 photos or something crazy like that. BUUUUUUT, we are having computer issues. Think I have a virus, so I don't want to download the photos just yet. I will post a thread with some photos as soon as we get the computer straightened out. But yay, Jac! Everything seemed perfect and now you are MARRIED GIRLFRIEND!

Hmmmm, I guess there is no harm inviting her. Keep the peace, ya know? That being said, none of my husbands female friends were invited to my shower since our families are so big, there just wasn't enough space for all the females from our wedding to be invited to the shower!

I had asked 7 friends to be in my wedding as well. Only my sister, Matt's sister and Jacqueline were able to make it to JA, so the other 4 were my honorary bm's. The way that I made that work was totally based on my AHR though. The JA girls wore the same printed dress to JA and the AHR, but at the AHR my 4 other girls were in all the bridal group photos and stuff but wore the VS 7 in 1 dress in pink. So they matched but were different. I had custom necklaces made for all 7 of them that were yellow gold with hibiscus flowers on them (to symbolize my wedding, since it was hibiscus themed), and a yellow diamond on the hibiscus (to symbolize my engagement ring). So I was really happy with the way it worked out. All 7 of them were a big part of planning my bach party and shower. Since your situation is a little different, I don't really have many suggestions, but wanted to give you an idea of how someone else dealt with it. Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

I don't like the sister either. Or Mr. Matthews! He's a scumbag and I wish Kelly would move on. I liked Annie better in the beginning then I did this episode. For some reason, her acting was really on my nerves this week. And I used to hate Ethan, but I love his character now! I don't know if he has just grown on me or if the character changed, but I am sad that he won't be around as much anymore.

Def have FI talk to her. It might not be a big deal to some people, but if it is to you, then she def needs to not wear it. Is it possible it's like a sundress? So that might make it not so bad?? Etiquette rules say that the mother of the bride chooses her dress and then the mother of the groom, so the fact that she would choose a dress and not confirm with you isn't exactly normal as well. Now I know that we aren't much for ettiquette around here, but there are some rules that still matter. If this is one that you care about, def have a talk with her. Does FI have a sister? It might come better better from a female.
