  1. Wow,I love the place you are going to for your honeymoon! It looks awesome.
  2. Holy crap, Shelley, you have so much cool stuff leftover!!! You are going to have no problem getting rid of most of that. I love all the mosaic things toward the bottom, wish I had a reason to purchase them!
  3. How in the world did I miss these?.?.? They are awesome and I especially love your long dress. Beautiful!
  4. I don't think they are related to points. What is the error that you get? And how are you trying to upload it? When you "post reply", are you trying to upload it using the little paperclip icon? That's how I do it and it usually works.
  5. I am off to find the original thread and then I will merge this into it... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t15752 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t24579
  6. I am not sure, hadn't heard this issue before. Are you using girlTalk? You can tell by scrolling all the way down and there is a drop-down for "default", "girlTalk", and "chienta". Depending on which style you are using, things change. I am using girlTalk.
  7. I love her response as well! And I agree with you, perhaps this did act to break the tension (for lack of better word) and now you two can start fresh. I am really also glad that you spoke to your FI about how his words affect you and your opinions/thoughts/feelings.
  8. We are not sure why that would suddenly start happening, but I was going to suggest what Erika said - under the usercp is a list of all of your subscribed threads that have had comments since your last viewing. I find it much easier to follow there then thru emails. 9. They are so adorable! I love the envelope liner. I also am a huge fan of orange and blue together (my wedding colors as well!)
  10. I'd be freaking out too! That really sucks! I wish I had some magic fix for you. Have you checked with your neighbors to see if they accidentally picked it up? Or your super, since you live in an apt bldg? We always have packages left on our porch or stoop, and I've never had a problem, but to lose the BD pics?? Man, that reallllly stinks!
  11. I haven't heard of this issue before, so I am not sure I can help, but do you have a coordinator in JA that can assist you? Otherwise, I would call the place that you will be married and ask for their assistance. It would SUCK to get there and find out that you don't have everything that you need!
  12. I def think that would be a bridezilla request. It's nice that you want to do all of that stuff for your friends, but IF they are your friends and something happens that they end up not being able to make it, I would assume it's something they can't help and I don't think you would be a very good friend to hold that against them. Perhaps you should rethink everything you want to do for them if you are worried about the loss of money.
  13. What about throwing your own AHR with his family when you go to visit for the holidays? I had never heard of asking someone else to throw one for the couple, usually it the bride and groom that plan it. So what about just booking a restaurant for the night or something equally low-key? Find out how many people are on his side, find a restaurant that will allow you to partially or fully shut it down and then send invites as you normally would for a party. Taking the responsibility out of your MIL hands, takes away her ability to make you feel unwanted/unloved/or 2nd best. Good luck with whatever you choose!
  14. BUMPING again.... If you notice that your siggy was fixed, I went on a little mini fixing spree this morning. But if I didn't see your's feel free to ask for help if you don't understand the directions!
  15. I'll be thinking of you! And I wish you a speedy recovery!
  16. Have you tried searching on the forum and contacting one of the many vendors that offer monograms? That's were I would start, there are so many wonderful artists!
  17. Have you tried searching the forum? This topic has been discussed at length in various other threads. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t935 Take a look at the link in my siggy if you would like some more helpful hints on navigating the forum.
  18. I love them! I really love the ones with the blue parasol, the combo of the brightness of that with the tone of your skin and hair is awesome! My favorite series of the bunch. I really liked #91 also. It was in the hot pink, but the photog did something with the color to make the pink more muted, and I realllly liked it.
  19. Cute! You must have really sweet co-workers!
  20. I designed mine myself, but had them professionally printed. For a small fee, they cut, cropped and stapled them in sets. My invites were 6 pages (tickets) long, so I did page 1 with 3 tickets of ticket 1; page 2 with 3 tickets of ticket 2; etc. This way they were able to just staple a stack of 6 pages in the 3 different tickets. I purchased the paper myself, but like $5 or something from Staples and it cost less then $85 to have them printed, cut, cropped and stapled. Money WELL SPENT! I am not sure if it's a nationwide chain, but I used Minute Man Press.
