  2. My ring isn't as unique a shape as you (or Rachel's), but my wedding bands don't fit around it either. I actually prefer that look and don't like when the wedding bands are shaped around the e-ring. Now, that's just my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. I bought a wedding band for both sides of my e-ring and I like the versatility it gives me. Sometimes I wear all 3, sometimes I wear my e-ring with just one band, sometimes I just wear my band(s), sometimes I wear my e-ring with one band and the other band on my right hand, sometimes I wear my e-ring with my grandmothers plain gold band. See what I mean about versatile? I woudl def talk to a jeweler and see what they suggest. I am not sure that you could wear a band that doesn't fit against it, since your's is def a more unique shape then mine, but check it out anyway, just to be sure. Good luck!
  3. I know alot of brides also just didn't get wedding bands since they loved their e-ring so much and a wedding band wouldn't fit with it. ETA - I see Rachel just said the same thing!
  4. I loved Twitch and Gev. I had some girl favorites, but I am blanking on their names other then Sabre.
  5. I ws just going to say what Andrea said, so try that and post here if it does or doesn't work...
  6. The first time I bought a tub, I used a regular flavored one from Giant, don't remember the brand. But since i only use like a tablespoon or two in her food, it lasts a long time. So this time I bought one that I like (Dannon vanilla flavored, fat free or something like that), in case I need to eat it before it goes bad. It seems to be working just as fine! I think its just about the probiotics, like you said before, so anything that has them should do the trick.
  7. That dress is perfect and so pretty! I want it! I just wore a black, white and blue sundress. There are pics on here somewhere, but it really wasn't anything special.
  8. Cool, glad we could help! But something you just said, got me thinking... Did you try posting in the buy/sell/trade section here that you are "LF: Maggie Phillipa dress size x". If several brides on here wore it, you might get lucky and find something that wants to sell it. Oh, and gorgeous dress, btw!
  9. I couldn't wait to get rid of my crap-ass Treo 750, so I got the iphone a few months ago and LOVE IT! I still have a bit of trouble typing, but the functionality of it makes the slight annoyance of typing minimal. I *heart* my iphone.
  10. I think you should buy the dress of your dreams (at HUGE savings!) and keep the ivory in your theme, if that's what you wuold like. As brides, we get so obsessed with the details, but as a guest at weddings since my own, I can honestly tell you that no one would notice if your dress was white and your invitations were ivory. Other people are seeing our wedding in pieces, not as a whole picture like we do when we post all the pictures together. For reassurance though, I would go to a store and try on this Maggie dress in the size the one you are contemplating buying is and be sure that it fits. Also, you might want to check how much it is to ship and insure it from England. That might raise the bill a bit.
  11. I don't think I got into it last season, but I loved it when I watched it previous years! It's by far, my fave (and only?!) reality tv show.
  12. Holla. Let us know if it works for you. I kept meaning to post this when we first did it, and it's been about a month now and still working. So I think we fixed whatever was wrong with my Sugar bear.
  13. I think it is. It was getting so bad that we coudln't even keep her in the rooms with us at home. We were always kicking her out cuz it was horrible! So I googled it and got a bunch of returns - some we had tried, others I wasn't going to try. The two that i am using (adding water and yogurt) seemed easy enough to test out. And I swear it was almost instantaneous. No more farting. You might her her toot, and you go to cover your face real quick, but they don't stink! It's awesome. She's like a new dog.
  14. Great thread title, right? But anyway, I have an english bulldog who will be 8 in 2 weeks. She's my baby girl, BUT she farts like nothing I have ever smelled before. It was enough to peel paint from walls. I tried lots of things - pills, medicine, whatever was suggested to me. Well, we finally figured out something that works! So I figured I had to pass it along to my BDW peeps. We switched her food also a few times trying to correct it, but nothing seemed to be working. What finally DID end up working for her was to cover her food in water (like enough to make it kinda soupy) then put a scoop of yogurt in it and stir it around. We let it sit for like 5 minutes or so and then let her eat it. An even better result was that she LOVES IT! Like dances around like a crazy puppy waiting for it. And no more farts! Problem Solved!
  15. Jeez, where ya been? There are tons of honeymoon babies around this forum!
  16. I love youre reception shoes, they are so great! Eveything came together nicely, I can't wait to see how it looks all put together!
  17. Before we were married, we created a joint account for checking and savings that we both contributed to monthly, but we retained our own accounts for bills and spending money. We were just discussing the other day that there is no need for all these different accounts, (I have 3 bank accounts, he has 2) so we will be combining more of our money, we just haven't done it yet.
  18. I love everything! Your ring, your dress looks great on you, your bd book! Great choices!
  19. Damn, the codes got all messed up, I have to go fix them....
  20. How sad is it that I watch probably half of this dang list!
  21. Trish, so cool! I was coming here to post that my mom bought me a sundial for our anniversary for our garden (when we buy a house) and see that you Dad had the same idea! I can't wait to have a place to give it to live. Quote: Originally Posted by Tlseege So, it was my 1 year anniversary last weekend and my husband did a really good job on my gift. Well that sparked an idea in my husbands head. He said that he was originally going to get me a sundial, but we don't have the space or a garden to put it in. Well, my parents certainly do. So, dad and I went on an internet hunt for cool ones today... we found this one and we LOVE it!! isn't it so perfect? The inscription just works out lovely!!! So anyways, I just thought I'd share because it would also work for a one year gift and I seriously think it's adorable!
