I don't think anyone was trying to offend you, they were trying to help you. This forum is full of brides that all have their own opinions, and we definitely encourage that. But when you label things negatively, as you did, it puts a bad taste in peoples mouths. They were just trying to ask you to be more careful with your wording if you wanted to get help, so let's try to keep it nice. I understand your need for a high quality cake, but to most people it's just not that important. So perhaps they weren't helpful b/c most people just use the resort cake. (I did too and honestly, I can barely remember what it looked like it meant so little to us.) Since it means so much to you, I would speak to your WC at the resort and see if they can direct you to someone that can make something more along the lines that you want. Also, perhaps the resort could customize the cake to what you want. Oh and to be clear, your original post sad that the cakes were sad and cheesy, not anything about the "baking skills". So by acting like you were attacked for stating an opinion on the baking skills is just not true since that wasn't what was in the original post. I hope you find what you are looking for though! I would def start with the WC.

Do you happen to know what the flower is? Kinda looks more leafy, then flowery. But I thought if we had the name, perhaps someone could find it. Also, would it be out of line to ask the person who created your monogram? That's what I would do...

At the very top of the screen, there is a changing banner that blinks between the TA's on the site. If you click on that, it will take you to a form to fill out.

I think the TAs on this site work more on a destination basis as opposed to where they are working from. If that makes sense. Like there are ones that specialize in Jamaica, Mexico, etc. Check out the blinking banner at the top to see which one best fits your needs. (I am not sure if anyone is out of NY, but TA Maureen is in NJ)

Can you ask your photog for some samples of their work? I didn't do nude, but sometimes I wish I had. (Tastefully, of course, not porno-ish! Hahahahaaa)

I agree. Go for it! We spent a little extra to be "original" as well, and went with a yellow diamond ring. I wouldn't change a thing about it. I watched it and it is def my favorite reality show. I could watch just that for days and days. I love the good and the bad the same! I liked the girl and guy that you just referenced, I can't remember their names. But I was also reminded of the girl from last year that i liked - Comfort! I don't know how I forgot her earlier, since she was one of my faves all along. I hope there is someone like her this year. Hip hop is my favorite, and I really like when a gril can do it as well as a guy, and she was so good at the other dances as well!

What is your concern? I think it's a beautiful ring and would love to wear it myself! Simon G is a pretty well-known designer, so I think you are good there.

I loooved your dress! It was also one of my finalists, or very similar. Looks like everything went well, so YAYYY!

I added the photo for you... I am prob not the best person to ask, cuz I found my dress in the 1st shop we went to. But it was more then triple my budget. I went to every other store anywhere near where I lived, but ended up going back 9 months later to get "the" one. So I think if you can't afford it or don't want to pay that much, don't even try it on! If I hadn't tried mine on, there were so many others that looked nice, but nothing compared.
