Awww, thanks ladies for all the compliments. Jac, did she do an album for you too? I forget... If she did, how is that? Do you love it? Are you going to be putting togehter your own album, if she didn't? (I still need to do the albums for us and our parents.)

I also prefer the 1st option. Which is weird cuz I usually choose colors, but I like the gray and balck.

I know lots of girls bought new shoes and then returned them after the shoot. That would be more cost effective then paying to have shoes shipped to you and back to original owner...

I loved the Olivia so much that I had to show them to a friend that is looking for her wedding shoes for next June. I really love them.

Edna, I added a poll for you, but my choice is no doubt #1! I love being a little different and if you aren't using a color shoe, I think they should be original and those certainly are! I love them!

I LOVE the wraparound labels! I have never seen them before. I was going to suggest printing the labels in a differnt color then black. Like perhaps printing them in white. But after seeing the wraparounds, I think that's the way to go. (I wish I had something to mail!)

I was replying to your email, but since you posted it here, I'll just put it here too! I put one word in red. For the closing paragraph, I would take the advice of someone above and request the hard copy of the footage and no additional charge so that you can get someone to edit it for you. Or request them to have someone else look at it and see if they can manage to put together a more appealing version. (BTW - I accidentally edited your reponse originally instead of quoted it, so it might have looked funny for a few mintues until I realized I hit the wrong button.) On dics 2, about 5 different times the video gets distorted looking, like a checkered look almost (pixilated). It also skipped a few times. We paid good money and I am upset that the video's are not good quality. I felt like the entire reception was pretty much just the dance floor, whether people were dancing there or not. I guess I was expecting to see guest arriving, guests tables, people by the bar, etc. I am glad the dance floor was captured however I didn't think that would be the only coverage.

Damn, Jac, that sucks. The video that Beaches made for us is laughable it's so bad, so I feel your pain. I would definitely talk to someone about it. They obviously can't fix it, but they can address it for future brides.

Hi Amber, I don't know if they have that available. I wasn't interested in a gazebo, so never looked into the options. There are some attachments here that should contain the options, but I don't recall off hand. You need 150 posts to open attachments. Also, you listed your wedding date as 03/06/09, but that's in the past, did you mean 2010?

The last dress is super flattering on you! Did you fall in love with any? Cuz it doesn't really sound like you did. So don't buy anything yet! Keep looking until you find one you love! Otherwise, you'll be a 2 (or more!) dress bride like so many other girls on here.

My husband talked to my dad about it, but didn't necessarily *ask permission*. We were ring shopping for MONTHS, so everyone knew it was coming. But I think it's also a preferential thing. My sister refused to have her husband ask my Dad b/c she felt that it was degrading to women since the reason this was done in the past is b/c we were considere property. I am not saying that isn't how it was, but I wasn't offended by the gesture and knew that my Dad would appreciate it, so I told Matt that he should have a talk with him. It was actually a great experience for the both of them. My Dad was able to tell Matt how much better my life seems with him in it and how happy he has made me. I told Matt that stuff too, but it's different coming from someone else. I think they had a nice little chat about it and I am glad they did.

This is a fun thread! My wedding was so long ago that I can't remember my bridezilla moment(s) right now, but I have no doubt that I had at least one! I'll have to ask my sister and bridesmaids...

Our went down so much that mine is basically free. Like Matt used to pay $189/month and I paid $94/month, now we pay something like $164/month. So it's less then he was paying just for himself! And our homeowners insurance went down as well. We ended up saving alot! Part of the savings comes from Matt had some speeding tickets on his license as well that just timed up, so his was about to go down anyway...
