Orange shoes
boscobel replied to msemi305's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Try www.cutesyshoes.com, they have some cute inexpensive shoes. I wore orange shoes for my wedding and I bought all 3 pairs from different ebay sellers. -
If you search for convertible dress (on here or on google) there are other companies that have made them too that are cheaper and might be in different colors. I don't recall who, but I am pretty sure that someone on here ordered a less expensive version. Personally, I am a fan of picking a color and letting the girls choose the dress that fits them the best. I just really like that whole matches but not matchy-matchy look.

So many of us had the same problem... I asked 7 girls to be in my wedding, 5 really close friends, my sister and Matt's sister. I had waited until they all said they were coming before I asked them though, so that there was no pressure on them. HOWEVER, about 5 months or something after I asked them 4 of them backed out. Kids, money, etc, were an issue. So I ended up having both of our sisters and Jackee (Jacqueline on here) with me in Jamaica and it was PERFECT. I had the other 4 girls participate in the AHR but just wore a different dress. I wouldn't change a thing about how I handled it, it worked perfectly for me (not saying it would for everyone though).

Eyelash Extensions *post ALL info here*

I am merging this with the eyelash extension thread... -
I don't think that amount of photos you received seems that off since I am sure they only gave you the photos that they edited. But that fact that you seem to be missing important shots would be an issue. Can you ask him/them if you can view the unedited photos and pick a few out that seem to be missing? If you are unhappy, I would def talkt o him about it. When did you get your photos? If you JUST got them, I would give it a day or two and check themout again. You might find that you like them more then you thought. When I first get a picture, I always look for the flaws, like is my face shining, are my arms flabby, etc. Once I get past that initial "i hate myself", I usually end up enjoying the picture.

Did you try googling it? I just did and got tons of returns. Quote: Originally Posted by Tonir Where do you get this from?

Viewing photos
boscobel replied to sperger's topic in Bugs, issues or "how to" navigate forum questions.
Most likely it's that those photo hosting sites aren't being supported. Or the photos were removed by the owner. If you can post an example of one you can see and one you can't, we might be able to determine the problem... -

Cool! I added the link for you to make it easier... -
I loved Janette and was really surprised that she was gone. I also don't really care for any of the guys left. If I had to pick, I like Ade the best, but I really don't care one way or the other. It's more that I don't think Evan should win, and Brandon kinda bugs me. Since Janette is gone, I reallllllly hope that Melissa wins. She has been pretty flawless the entire season. And it would just be cool if a girl finally wins! And i just really don't want it to be Kayla. I think this season has pretty much sucked. But I blame that more on the choreographers then the dancers. The dancers have mostly been good, but the routines are nothing like they have been in the past. Shane Sparks used to be my FAVORITE and I haven't been too into anything he's done this year (although the Jason and Kayla zombie one was pretty good). Oh and I also agree that they should get rid of those slow dances that never win any votes!

I have had to remove a few posts from this thread due to the fact that people posted links to their sites. We need to be careful about what we allow to be posted since the vendors that help support this site pay a fee for the ability to advertise their services. If you aren't a paying vendor on this site, then you aren't permitted to make any reference to your business. Sorry to put a damper on the discussion. If you are interested in becoming a paying vendor, check out the vendor rules here - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t921.

The rules were changed a few months ago and when you can open attachments and stuff is based on POINTS now, not POSTS. Check out the link in my siggy (or any other mod's) for helpful hints on how to navigate the forum. Please be sure you SEARCH before starting a new threads, b/c this topic has been discussed at length.

Ann, thank you so much for the time and effort you have continually put together for the BL. I was a participant for a season or two and I know what you put into it. I am sorry that it doesn't seem to have been respected and has come to be expected of you. You were doing a huge favor for everyone who participated and I am sorry that wasn't recognized by 100% of the people who participated. Also, just wanted you to know that I think your response was very well said! Quote: Originally Posted by AnnR I'm sorry, but I took personal offense to this. Yes, it was really that bad. When all of that started happening, it wasn't fun anymore. So yes, one (or more than one, actually) person ruined it for the rest. And just so you're aware, this isnt' my job, I don't get paid. The moderators here do what we do because we love this forum, want to see it work for others like it worked for us when we were planning our weddings. We all have lives outside of this forum, believe it or not, and some of us are quite busy - working full time, raising a family, taking care of our pregnant selves, etc. So to say it's a shame one of us doesn't "step up" to deal with this drama and whining hit a raw nerve with me. Honestly, I was really going back and forth on whether or not to host this again. I really wanted to, it's been great in the past. But some of the reactions I've seen since I said I wasn't going to host made me realize I made the right decision. For those of you that played fair, and made it a fun competition - thank you. I hope you all succeed in your weight loss and health goals! And, as always, Tammy, thanks for the support that you give us. I can't imagine my life without the forum and all the wonderful girls that I now *know* so well. So i would really appreciate it if the mods/admin make a decision on the forum/how its run etc, you will respect our decision. Siggy Size Limits - PLEASE READ
boscobel replied to TammyWright's topic in Bugs, issues or "how to" navigate forum questions.
I have been noticing alot of siggy lately that aren't meeting our guidelines. Please read/reread Tammy's original post and make sure that your siggy meets the criteria. The mods will delete any that are over the allotted size. Also notice that the limit on tickers is 3, and they are to be place on top of each other, not next to each other... -
Help me name my new adopted babies!!

That's a funny suggestion, cuz I think that's Christine's dogs names. Small world. Quote: Originally Posted by flbluiiis Toby and Tessa Keep it short so it is easier for them to learn. Man, Kelly, that really sucks! When will it all get figured out? Are you on a time crunch? I know things have to be filed and done within a certain amount of days and stuff like that... Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI):Benefits, New Requirements, Homeowners' Protection Act, Terminating PMI, HPA Disclosures, and Home Value Increases - an FRBSF Brochure "PMI is extra insurance that lenders require from most homebuyers who obtain loans that are more than 80 percent of their new home's value. In other words, buyers with less than a 20 percent down payment are normally required to pay PMI." I think that you may be able to avoid this if you can get two mortgages, called a piggyback mortgage. I have only heard of them and have no first hand experience, but maybe someone else can give you some info on them. It would avoid the PMI payment and perhaps make the monthly payment lower (since there is no PMI). Piggyback Mortgage Calculator - Calculate Piggyback loans - 80/20 Mortgage Calculator 80/20 Piggy Back Mortgage Comparison Calculator - A piggy back mortgage is when two mortgage loans are used simultaneous to purchase a home to avoid PMI (private mortgage insurance). This may be done as an 80/20, 80/15 or 80/10 mortgage. Use this mortgage calculator to view monthly mortgage payment differences between a piggy back loan and a traditional mortgage with PMI. Comparison assumes the same mortgage interest rate for both of the first mortgages. Oh so many things drive me crazy. Let's see... - he talks alot! (He's a hairdresser so it's good for the job, but bad for me!) - his clothes are ALL over our apt. Socks, boxers, shirts, belts, pants. It's like he walks around doing strip shows after I've gone to bed at night. - he apparently doesn't know how to close a cabinet door - when he's just standing there talking to someone, he lifts his shirt up in the back and puts his hands on his hips, but that makes like 8 inches of skin show. I don't know why, but it really rubs me the wrong way when he stands like that. Petty, right?! What drives him crazy? - I hate getting my picture taken. For instance, the other day we were house shopping and he was trying to take a picture of a room and I hid behind the curtain rather then be in the photo. - my self-loathing really pisses him off - I never take my dog outside. Hey, I have to travel 1.5 hours to work every morning and he goes like 5 minutes, so shoot me for not wanting to waste an additional 10 minutes of sleep standing outside so my dog can shit! - I am no suzy-homemaker (not a good cook, cleaner, etc) - I am not real crazy about open-mouth kissing. I much prefer some nice smooches. I am sure there is more, but that's just to start off!

We had the private reception as well. I don't recall the food options, but if you read my review you can get more information. Ours took place on the Venetian Terrace and it was BEAUTIFUL! We paid extra for the chinese lanterns to be strung up and I really think that made a huge difference.
