  1. Man, why is every choice so freaking hard? I feel the same indecision trying to decorate my new house as I did when planning my wedding! This shit is HARD. My favorite is still the one Debs posted. I chatted with an online rep and I emailed them to see if I can find it anywhere. I've even contemplated finding fabric and trying to replicate it myself. I can't find any gray and white prints that are as close to what I like (big print) as that. There are a few othes that I really like, but aren't perfect. Like the patchwork looking one Shelley posted, if that was all orange damask, I'd probably just purchase it. But I feel that the patchwork isn't the final look I'm going for. I want a really sophisticated look. I think I'm even obsessed with having it be sophisticated since this is the first time I'm decorating a bedroom as a wife. I've always had super girly bedding, so I'm trying to keep it girly enough for me, but not too girly for Matt. Who knew that orange + gray + white would be so freaking hard!!! I've even tried to get just gray and white and add orange in myself and there isn't really much out there white/gray! I moved over to black and white and still not loving anything. I'm totally obsessed like I was when planning my wedding. I need to just get it over with! Sorry for the vent!
  2. Love it! Hahahaa Quote: Originally Posted by ErinB *Again, Jacob is a tasty little morsel of jail baity goodness
  3. Hmmm, better then movie #1 you say? I loved the books, but thought movie #1 was horrible. Does this mean I need to go see it? Damn, Calia, know you're confusing me.
  4. Damn, damn, damn, I missed the routines show and I wanted to see some of them. Does anyone know where I can watch them online? I found some sites, but none that have all the routines.
  5. I'll add a poll now, but I don't know if I could vote! I was IN LOVE with Edward in the first book, but after that, they were a close tie to me...
  6. I beleive this topic has been discussed at length, please search within the proper subforum: Invitations, STDs, photos & website - Best Destination Wedding Forum ~ The Ultimate Destination Wedding Resource
  7. This thread seems to be taking a turn for the worse. Actually, perhaps it's just continuing with the negative spirit that the original poster intended, but that isn't the way we like this forum to run. We encourage everyone to have an opinion, but we also require that the members respect the admin (Tammy host) and the moderators. You might want to take a look at this thread - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-banned-32834/ - specifically this quote from a few posts down although the entire thread might be useful. Especially about things they do not fully understand. when vendors get banned, we actually do keep a thread tracking warning, incidents, etc. We have discussed the ban amongst the moderators/admins but the ban is not up for discussion with members. You do not need to agree or understand the rules, you just need to follow them. If you do not like the rules or how the forum is run, you do not need to stay here. There are plenty of other wedding forums you can go to. 8. I searched your threads and found one that you were referring to - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...uestion-52061/ And the reason why that thread was closed b/c it was particularly offensive to the heart of the forum. This is a great resource if you take the time to become a participative (is that even a word?) member. To say that you don't have time to research and you want everyone to answer again in your thread is extremely rude in my opinion. I'm sorry that you will hold that against the entire forum, but we can't have everyone creating threads willy nilly b/c they are "too busy" to search. We are all busy. Here is the text in question: Quote: Originally Posted by juliaks I have a question. Sorry if this is a dumb question - maybe TTD is just what it's called, or maybe the idea is to actually destroy the dress... Thanks for humouring me! Oh, and good news! I bought my dress last night! Wohoo! It was on sale as it was, and I got the lady to drop the price by another 10%! Being cheap pays off sometimes! J Quote: Originally Posted by carly This topic has been discussed at length. 9. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...en-fans-41046/ I still have some for sale, but I recently moved so if you are interested, you'd have to be patient with me finding them!
  10. Oh jeez, I don't think it matters one bit. I don't think it even crossed our minds to buy a matching set! But I guess it's just a personal preferance, how important is it to YOU?
  11. Oh you girls are good!! Keep'em coming! I'm going to be calling Neiman Marcus about the one Debs posted above to see if they have it in stores and just no online. After she posted it, I googled everywhere to see if I could find it. I've even gone as far as to think that I'll make it!

  13. Man - this is annoying! I was beginning to *heart* this one, so I wanted to price it out and the website only lists the sheets and pillowcases! I guess the comforter isn't available! UGH! Quote: Originally Posted by Debs Signoria Firenze*-*"Blossom" Bed Linens*-*Neiman Marcus Shazammmmmmmmm!!
  14. Ohhh Deb, I like that me! Here's another one a friend emailed me: Ok, price-check! Nevermind on that one! It's $448 just for the duvet cover! It'd be like $1,000 for the whole set! No way in hizell.
  15. Yeah, the 3rd is my favorite too, but not sure if it's too girly for Matt? I like that it's mostly neutral, but not boring. But will that look good with gray walls? ETA: I was hoping that some one else might be able to find more options for me...
  16. We are in the midst of redoing our master bedroom and our color scheme is orange and deep gray. Our walk-in closet is bright orange and our bedroom walls will be gray. Our furniture is dark brown, the rug is a light neutral and the ceiling will remain whatever shade of white that it is. Can anyone help me find bedding that combines my color scheme? I've been googling all day and only came up with a few options, but none are screaming "BUY ME!". Here is our paint colors: Here's our furniture: Here are a few options I found today, but not LOVING any of them really: Jessica Sanders Tangerine 8-Piece Comforter Set, Queen - Orange Shop by Color Bed in a Bag - Bed & Bath - Macy's DwellStudio for Target Perch Bedding Collection : Target C & F Expedition Bedding by C & F Bedding; Comforters, Comforter Sets, Bed In A Bag, Bedspreads, Quilts & Duvets: The Home Decorating Company
  17. I'm sorry that you feel that she brings negativity to everything related to your / your wedding. But I think you may need to take a step back. This is YOUR wedding, not hers. You are living your life, and she is living hers. Sometimes we lose sight of the fact that not everyone's life is revolved around our weddings. I know I had those moments anyway. But you really can't be mad that she's pregnant. The fact that she recently suffered a miscarriage is all the more reason for you to be understanding of what she's been thru.
  18. So I'm stealing my neighbor for now while trying to figure out what the eff is going on. When I'm connected thru my wireless modem (which we've been successfully using for a looooong time no!), I can't connect to the internet and when I go into the Network and Sharing Center, it shows a picture like this: Carly's computer --> Carly's modem --> X internet I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting, I've googled to see if anything would work, but nada so far. Matt called Verizon last night but of course it was a recording saying to call back during business hours. Neither of us had a chance (or remembered) to do it today, so here I can again, stealing my neighbors.... Any suggestions?
  19. My first thought is that you don't need matching sides, so that's not that big of a deal. I would talk to the friend and explain the situation. Ask her anyway since it was important to you from the beginning to have her be involved. You don't know for sure that she can make it yet, right? I would ask her and explain the whole situation and let her made her decision. I had 3 girls and 6 guys in JA for my wedding, then 7 girls and 6 guys for my AHR b/c I didn't care about the numbers, just that the important people were involved! Good luck!
  20. Yes, Rach, I totally agree. And they say all the time how it's not "america's BEST dancer", it's "america's FAVORITE dancer". That's what happens when you let people vote. But I agree, I don't think he was being arrogant, I think he was trying to make a joke. Nigel just earned him more votes actually.
  21. Alot of times teh BD book threads are removed at the member's request. They generally don't leave them up forever, just an FYI since it might not exist anymore.
