  2. The best part is that I get carded all the time and he never does! HA, so take that, Matt!
  3. I'm 37 days older then him. He likes to always tell people how he got an older lady.
  4. I think there might be a thread about this, try searching for "chocolate bride". Pretty sure it's hair and makeup tips...
  5. I don't think it's really cliche to add the wolves b/c it's part of the book series, which was written years before Twilight. I read the whole series but want to start over b/c it was so good, if you haven't read it, you totally should. But yeah, that scene between Sam and Bill, I was so confused. I'm glad it was just a dream, but why did it happen? B/c of the blood bond between them? Like how Sookie is connected to Bill and now Eric b/c of it? Just wondering what the point of it was. And I have to say that I love Lafayette! I'm so glad they didn't kill him off in the series like in the books.
  6. I think there's a huge thread for this alraedy, let me see if I can find it... ETA: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...your-name-935/ http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...uestion-35337/
  7. I remember when Jac first posted this thread, I had never even heard the song before. Now everytime I hear it, I thnk of this post and it cracks me up!
  8. Hmmm, I'm an episode behind, so can't say about the latest show, but I was SUPER shocked to see them lose Anthony. I also don't understand it. They say they look for 3 three things: dance, personality and the right looks (since it IS a tv show). He had all 3 of those in plentitude. He was SMOKING hot, a great dancer (event old he was the only man dancing among children) and he had a good personality! He's like the only one that was a manly dancer. Every guy that's left is on the small side and possibly a little feminine. That's a big thing for Nigel, so I'm confused on why he would lose the only big strong (hot) body. Sorry, couldn't resist the hot, b/c wow. They didn't give any reasons, so I'm really confused on that decision there. I think my early favorite for girls is Lauren (bubbly blond) and Melinda (tapper) and the guys I have no fave yet, but it will probably be Jose since he's a bboy. Oh and BULLSHIT that they made it 6 boys for Billy Bell! He did NOT prove himself during this competition until his last solo and they kept keeping him on b/c of what they knew he could do. If I was a female that got cut, I'd be so pissed that they took an extra guy. If I didn't love this show so much, it's bs like this that makes me lose interest in the show. Of course, unless the person who posted that maybe he had a terminal illness or something and they're granting him a wish. Although, if that was the case, I still think they should've stuck to 5 guys and 5 girls. Or at least even it up to be 6 and 6.
  9. Searching the forum would help. Or clicking on the big banner at the top of the screen to contact one of BDW's TA's.
  10. I haven't watched this weeks episodes yet, but I agree. I kinda like the old dancers mentor idea, but why can't they have it still be a top 20 and still get rid of 1 b/g each week? I don't like the idea of the top 10 b/c it's just such a small number!
  11. Have you tried searching before creating a new and redundant thread? Check out this thread - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-photos-33890/. But the thread that you are really interested in can be found here - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...s-dress-11617/ It would be beneficial to do a search before posting a new thread since just about every topic has already been discussed at length on this forum.
  12. I had six sessions. They have NO regrowth? Like I said, my hair is much thinner and comes in more sparsely, but it definitely is not a permanent fix. And I'm a blonde with practically no body hair to begin with, so it's not like I'm a hairy beast. I don't know anyone who has had results permanently. I know Ana on here, who lives in Mexico, has practically her whole body done, but she goes for treatments continually and lvoes the results. But she needs to keep getting the treatment done, b/c it's not permanent for her. Good for them if it has permanent results! But I'd be interested to see what they say 2 years after their treatment...
  13. Eeeek, sorry you had such a bad experience! But I had laser hair removal before my wedding and while my hair is def thinner and more sparse then it was before, it is also DEF not permanent. I had to remove the hair while doing laser hair removal, between treatments and now 2 years later I'm doing a monthly brazilian wax. So I really don't think it was worth it for the price.
  14. YES, thank God!!! We added it to our insurance policy as soon as we got engaged, so I'm SUPER glad we did that. Otherwise, I don't know what we would have done. I know we wouldn't have been able to replace it and I KNOW that we wouldn't be able to get something that was nicer, like we did. 15. Thanks girls! I like that he reproposed b/c it officially makes my new ering an ering! And it almost makes it ok that my original was lost.
  16. I thought I had posted my original ering in this thread, but I guess maybe it got deleted or something (the photobucket link probably was dead). Anyway, we went to Disney World in April and lost my ring in the Animal Kingdom. It was a comedy of errors that basically took place the whole day until we lost my ring, I won't get into the whole story, but I will post pics of my new ring that I picked up last night!! It's pretty similar to my original, just bigger, better color and quality. Oh and it is a fancy yellow diamond. Here is my original ering: And here is my NEW and IMPROVED ering: I love it so much I feel newly engaged. But that might also have something to do with the fact my husband surprised me and picked the ring up himself, and he re-proposed with flowers and the ring. He's awesome.
  17. Awww, a "Golden Girl" has passed. Celebrity gossip juicy celebrity rumors Hollywood gossip blog from Perez Hilton She was my fave when I watched that show when I was little.
  18. Have you tried searching the forum? There are various threads out there on why/why not to use a TA. Also, you might want to check with the forum TA's b/c most of them were also DW brides.
  19. Awww, what a shame. I saw that he was in critical condition earlier today, but didn't know it was so, critical.
  20. Ok, I was searching for "favorite summer drinks" thread and didn't find one, but I think this is good enough! I'm going to a BBQ tomorrow and was thinking to bring something delicious and this is perfect!! Alys - how many people do you think this serves? There will probably be 10-15 people at the BBQ, possibly more, possibly less. But obviously, not everyone will drink this. Do you think making just 1 recipe is enough? I might have to make it tonight, so I can "test" it out. Oh and how much liquid does it make? I'm wondering how I will transport it since the BBQ is like 30 mins away...
  21. You can only "edit" a thread for an hour after posting, but that's only the content. You wouldn't be able to move it to a different subforum. But if you have a thread that needs to be moved, just PM a mod (Tammy Host, Annr, Christine, Jamy (starchild) or Abbie), with the url and let them know where it should be moved to and they can do that for you.
