So I had my Lasik on Tuesday! I was getting so nervous in the waiting room that I was feeling nauseous. Not enough that I really thought I would get sick, but still. The weirdest part about the whole thing was def the suctioning of my eye. It was...intense? But also very fast. Then the laser part was nothing. It was also weird to remove the suction and then of course ripping the tape off that was keeping my eyes open wasn't comfortable. But all in all, I was scared and nauseous for nothing. The only bad thing for me is that I didn't take an ibuprophren before the pain kicked in on the way home (we lived about 1.5 hours away from the place) and that was a big mistake. They said to stay ahead of the pain, but I thought the numbing drops would last longer and I could take medicine at home. It hurt SO bad and there was nothing I could do. I kept wanting to press on my eyes to relieve the pressure, but you can't touch your eyes. I ended up taking like 14 ibuprophrens before I was able to fall asleep. I slept for like 14 hours and woke up every 4 hours or so to pee and take another ibu (by then I was just taking a normal dose). Yesterday morning I was a little hazy and my eyes wouldn't open up all the way, but by the end of the day yesterday I felt completely normal! I'm back to work today and my computer is a little hazy, but that's normal for now, so all in all, I'm wondering why I waited to freaking long!

I think you can do all that in FF though too and it's automated. I know you can use C instead of F cuz the Canadian girls use it too. Not to be a FF pusher though! hahahahaa. Just thought it might make it easier for you...

Ayita, do you track your cycle online? Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - Fertility Charting is what alot of us use to track (even though I gave up temping) everything and if you are temping, it will determine your O, 3 days after you O. But taht will give you an idea of what your cycle will look like next month so you don't have to do any manually calculations. Right now, I use it to track when I should get AF and I use OPK's to predict ovulation since I stopped temping.

Good luck with the new acu, Jen! I didn't realize you weren't seeing one that specialized in fertility already. Mine is and she said peopls are usually pregnant within 3 months of starting treatment and I'm just about finishing my third month. I really hope it doesn't take too much longer!

No it actually doesn't hurt at all. The needles are so skinny, skinnier then any that you would see in a doctors office. You usually can't even see mark when they are removed. Sometimes she uses something that she clips onto the needles and it sends pulses into my skin and that will occasionally leave a little red mark, but other then that you can't see anything.

Oh, I don't know if I've mentioned it here, but I go weekly for acupuncture treatments. She focuses on fertility and allergies and I really think it's helped my allergies. I've been going for just about 2.5-3 months and obviously I'm not pregnant yet, but we're trying! Plus it's so very relaxing!

I so agree with you! Last night was the first time that Adechike made an impression on me and I dn't know why he hasn't. He seems to have a cute personality and one of those super bright smiles, but he doesn't usually show it during the routines. I actually like Melinda, and felt it was a toss up between Christina and her last week, but her dance was painful to watch last night. It wasn't smooth at all. She looked...clumpy? in her movements. Like big and clumsy or something. But yeah, I thought that was really harsh to say about a mistake. It's one thing to think it, but to say it like that is just unnecessary. And Jose! I love him. I told Matt last night I just want to take him home and keep him forever. I didn't think he did very good on his routine, but the judges liked it so I'm good with that cuz I'd like him to stay for a while. I actually wasn't a fan of Alex until last night. I just didn't like something about him, but he did really good. It seems that some of my fave routines are the hip-hop when it's boy partners. Twitch is awesome and Alex really shined for me last night. And please send Billy Bell home. I guess I'm still prejudiced from when they made the exception to bring him in, but I can't stand watching him or listening to him. I ff right thru him. And Robert is HOT!
